Funny that more institutional shorts closed though. Quite telling that.
Brexit deal will save us all not maybe not so much Cineworld.
But great news if done.
Check the time of the Bloomberg report - 1519 gmt today so 71 mins before UK market close.
No reaction in London or later in NY.
@LTHcine.... perhaps but could be a bit of a frenzy at the opening bell.... so may see how the SP goes..
Brexit deal 95% complete apparently according sky, as said nothing to do with this one as such but a general good day for markets on Monday imo, up or down I'm glad I've just held throughout the week, fingers crossed!
Broker1 its not too late
@Dreammachine, i am out of Cineworld, would like to get back in, but no i dont see the SP diving now and i am actually pleased for the LTH, as was planning to be one also but share fatique and reverting to some recent day trading and i never got back in... am not sore about it, thats just the risk of not being in.... i will however take some satisfaction in watching the SP rise and the shorters get burned as penance for their consent fear mongering.... gla you LTH.... ride the rise and enjoy....
Dreamachine you are clearly in cuckoo land
Lows based on what? Securing liquidity, vaccine news and possible debt waivers would say otherwise.
Yeah but fomo is big with this now and so is the fear factor, you have to be brave to trade the ups and downs now imo, honestly been soo nervous at times with this one when under water, then very greedy once I hit the green, litterially not brought below 35p ever, its been the buying and selling 50-65p that's allowed me to get to 30p average, all that effort and stress and if I was just patence could have just brought on the lows, gotta laugh else you cry I guess! But dipping in and out now could be very costly or profitable depending on your skills (luck!)
Would just be an opportunity to top up and reinvest the profits. Most here knew what we were getting into when we decided to invest/gamble here. 200-300%+ profit for those who bought in @ 15p. Derampers could have made money buying in instead of hoping and wishing for 5 on the sideline
Ha, to be fair I held after debating all day so probably his argument for drop on Monday probably right but actually I see big spike 60p ish now if any more news on the cva process, Oxford news and I realise nothing to do with cinema but talks of a deal of sorts could spark a general up for the markets, but definitely think 40p could be somewhere involved, ie simular to the last run. 50% swings a traders dream, and a holders nightmare!
His basis is because he sold out today.
What the basis for this theory?
Yep as time moves forward now... greater certainty is now applied to market recovery as vaccine news becomes embedded into society as general. IMPO, I think we'll see a better week next week... or at least back to 48-52p area!
Mooky is a very astute businessman, that's for certain!
@Tall Chap - I'm in pretty similar boat to you and been umming and ahhing all afternoon, but going to stay put. If you don't mind me asking, what's your average?
So I'm happy with my £80k investment and know it'll all be ok. A few waves but our business will be prosperous and fine come Spring. Just the uncertainty now but Mooky is not silly and had lots of his own money in this. He'll be out for the best deal for the best recovery possible.
