Bolox and M00la,
You can't compare trained pilots and car drivers - we know who is more skilled. Hollywood all the way.
However, M00la I'm open minded, give me your top 5 bollywood movies I'll watch one and give you my honest feedback.
Samuk and Bolox you guys as well. Give me your favourite all time bollywood movie(s).
Shamus12 it seems the answer to your question is no. If either yourself or M00la, Samuk and Bolox can give their top recommendations for bollywood movies that would be nice.
Thanks Shamus, Panga looks interesting with a sports theme running through it.
Any others, Bolox, M00la and Samuk?
Here’s Johnny Knobs previous post:
“Bollywood is a load of rubbish (most of them can't act)”.
It’s obvious you don’t like anything Bollywood but why come across as offensive and discredit an entire industry that has come a long way to entertain a global audience? It’s like me saying to you that you’re a complete pr|ck without having ever met you that and your entire existence to date as been a load of bolox!
Thanks Saihaj,
A little extra temper there. So far we've had Panga, someone I spoke to an hour ago said that if I liked Back To The Future, then I should watch "Action Replayy" - not sure if it is any good?
M00la you've worked in the industry - would be good to get your top list.
I'm going by sentiment in the responses that the following feel that Hollywood movies are badly acted genre pieces:
Saihaj, M00la, Bolox, Samuk, PinkEye and Parsley2
Those who think that this is NOT the case:
Johnht, Chartz, winniworld and Shamus12
So far only one recommendation for a bollywood movie to watch:
Panga
Saihaj, I see him as narrow minded, culturally inexperienced, and frankly not coming across that bright. 1bn peolple in another continent may disagree with his childish verdict!
That's a lukewarm response Schmoky. Give me your top 5 best every bollywood movies.
@Johnny Boy, watch any of these and give your honest feedback... they aren’t your typical Bollywood singing and dancing films as you may be familiar with however you’ll see the organised crime aspect which still Bank roles a lot of the industry:
1. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (based on Haji Mastan and Dawood Ibrahim, the latter whose still running a global crime network, you want to google Dawood Ibrahim for some background).
2. Company (2002) (directed by legendary Ram Gopal Verma, a raw and rugged look at India’s underworld).
Let’s start with the above 2 movies and I’ll give you some alternative singing and dancing numbers of interest!
Thanks Saihaj, finally that chill pill is taking effect. Both have been duly noted and added to the list below of must watch.
1. Panga
2. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai
3. Company
Once upon a time in East London... the investroid story
I'll add one.. watch Vaastav.. if we are talking about gangster films.
Thanks Mrahman20, I've added it to the list.
1. Panga
2. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai
3. Company
4. Vaastav

@smartpee apart from Hounslow East, you won't find movies made about the rest any time soon... sorry to say.
@Smartpee - LOL great imaginary list although those areas are rough, I don’t see any director making films about them... bend like Beckham maybe!
You mean Beckham's B'end?
Or a B'end like Beckham's?
Come on smartpee give me something real...
There comes a time when one must retire for the evening. I will bid you all good luck - although I have a lot on my plate, I'll be watching this board closely for gems.
Good luck all whatever your positions.
