Days before Christmas they put out this RNS :-City Of London Proposes Cancellation on AIM & Invests in RBL.
Do they get to keep the massive salaries they have collected for years ?
If you look at the calibre of people Oakley has brought in to help scale this business there is going to be a significant ramp up in deals now they are attracting deposits, and actively promoting loans through brokers. He has a track record of this with RBS & Metro, is highly intelligent and well regarded. Set up costs have been paid out of the capital raises and with income starting to accelerate it will be interesting how quickly Recognise start covering their overheads when they publish their next set of results. One to watch and I expect them to be one of the winners of the newly created banks over the next few years.

Morning all, here's a video with CEO Michael Goldstein and the CEO of Recognise Bank. Quite a useful intro in to what they are doing in the SME lending market.

It is quiet on here isn't it?
Been buying a few over the last week the new management team looks good, given time this could be a good little investment.
Still rising yet no chat?
Meanwhile the share price rockets!!! Share consolidation? Or another wrong price quote from LSE?
Someone's picking up a few shares down here, 3.25 hit this morning and now the bid higher , Get them below 4p whilst you can IMHO- Alway DYOR , good luck everyone
Agree, there are several con artists at work here. Company investments valued at zero.
I suggest folks read the interims here. Another post that's completely misleading
"There are only 8,424,424 shares or 22.9% shares in free float So the scramble will be on soon" I can see this Wisecrow - Sell followed by an immediate buy and share price wanting to move up but then falls due to a sell and then a buy moves it up - eventually shares will run out. Whats your average here if you dont mind me asking?
This is going to sound evil but whoever has done that has allowed me to bring my average down by ONE WHOLE PENCE. lol thanks. x
somebody has been dictating the wrong RNS for the wrong company. LMFAO
Totally agree with DG ! THERE IS NO DIVI , THE RNS IS FROM CLIG A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COMPANY .. check out the RNS feed here , the RNS is not there !!!!! ******* W A R N I N G *******
CLIG has a £99m MCAP. CIN doesn't have a pot to pee in. Why the misleading ramps? I imagine a CR will follow. Just disgusts me that folks are posting things and even the RNS for a £100m company, even if it was an honest mistake to get the dividend you'd have had to read through the accounts and it would have been obvious to any sensible investor that these were two separate entities. I'll leave it at that. But I'd personally read through the RNS tab and get out if you fell for it.
It's not confusing at all. The tweets posted are all directors talk accounts. A cash call will come and where is the difficulty in clicking on the RNS tab and reading the appealing interims and trading update for CIN and another £6.6m now being wiped off the balance sheet? What have you got? This has been purposeful market abuse by a select few and sadly many have piled in without doing any research.
@Davidgreece If you look at the news tab on the CIN Share it shows the below... So its all very confusing New ShareCast News for City Of London (CIN) Share Price: 4.00 Bid: 3.50 Ask: 4.50 Change: -0.125 (-3.03%) Faller - City Lon.grp Spread: 1.00 Spread as %: 28.57% Open: 3.50 High: 4.00 Low: 3.125 Yesterday’s Close: 4.125 CIN Alliance News CIN Reuters News CIN ShareCast News CIN Regulatory News CIN Pro News 12Next Finance News Page City of London Investment Group expects drop in profits, dividend steady (ShareCast News) - City of London Investment Group anticipated a decline in profits as funds under management registered a moderate decline, the emerging markets asset manager said in a pre-close trading update for the financial year to 30 June. [18 Jul '16 13:51]
Two separate entities being used to ramp this and mislead the market. The RNS is for CLIG not for CIN One is billions, this is red flags all over it. Disappointing to see such a misleading post re dividends. They don't even have enough to cash to support themselves and have just wiped off another £6.6m off the balance sheet. Folks to your own resesrch don't get caught up in completely unacceptable and misleading posts.
Warning
wisecrow what do make of TW comments?
MM looking to take out S.L and pick up cheap shares before they slowly push this higher me thinks... seen it done so many times before on AIM... GLA
