RNS - 24(th) November 2015 Camco Clean Energy plc ("Camco" or "the Company") Result of Extraordinary General Meeting to approve change of name The Company announces that the special resolution proposing a change of the Company name to RedT Energy plc has been duly passed by shareholders at today's extraordinary general meeting. The shares will trade on AIM under the new name with effect from 8.00 a.m. tomorrow, 25 November 2015, represented by a new ticker "RED" and the same ISIN number (GB00B11FB960).
So we should get confirmation later today or tomorrow that CCE will become RED. Exciting times and I'm hoping for lots of contract news...
The old saying - Ride your profits, sell your losses. If you take your stake out you have 50% of your holding for free and when this share goes it will go big time assuming the profits follow the sales. That's the only real gamble. If you think it will be profitable growth hang on in there.
I am on the fence...... should I withdraw my original stake and just remain in here with my profit or keep it all in? I have currently doubled my money on this share, one of my better purchases..... I wish they were all tis good. I do believe in their future, but companies this small are always up and down with uncertain big swings.
RNS is good news . . . I think. (I hope!)
http://new.spectator.co.uk/2015/11/to-frack-or-not-to-frack-investing-either-way/ Transformational is a word I like to hear attached to a stock I hold............ Good luck CCE.
1million delayed buy just shown up.
Getting ownership of nearly all REDT was an excellent idea making the company much more investable. Now the first units being delivered is the start of a stream of news as they are hitched up and set working. This should lead to orders coming in and the months ahead will see the share price rising accordingly.
A break of 6.5p could well shunt us out of the year long resistance.
Does anyone know the SP FinnCap are projecting? Now that the first production unit is in place I imagine that potential users will be lining up.
Still have it on my watchlist, but not sure where they are going at the moment. getting the rest of REDT was a good move but cash may be a problem in future unless they get more orders.
graham-wales Do you believe as much as you did just that you're on her as much with information has anything changed for you?
Tweeted today by GreenACORN........more and more to come..... @acorn_green: Great news the first 40kwhr @REDT_Energy been delivered to Wokingham, ours is next for , keep them rolling @Scott__McGregor
Good news indeed. The delivery of the first system demonstrates that Jabil have worked their magic and that the company is now ready to mass market REDT. Once we own the final 3% of the company i think we'll start to see a serious drive to sales. I remember buying AFC in 2009 at exactly this price, looking back i wished I'd bought more. I'm not going to make the same mistake here.
Good news on the first storage delivery today. "Start of our sales cycle". Revenue on its way. BUY

Camco Clean Energy Could Get Boost From UK's Energy Africa Campaign Tue, 20th Oct 2015 12:22 LONDON (Alliance News) - The UK government Tuesday announced plans to launch a campaign aimed at assisting Africa improve its access to energy and electricity with a focus on renewable, off-grid power. The campaign, which will be officially launched on Thursday, will be a boost to some London-listed companies including Camco Clean Energy PLC, which is developing technology that fits with the UK government's Energy Africa campaign. The UK government, through the Department for International Development, is hoping to achieve "universal energy access" in the continent by 2030 with the hope it will alleviate poverty, bring down the cost of energy, and spur more broad economic growth in the region. "Two out of three people living in Africa do not have electricity in their homes. If we continue on the current trajectory, it will take until 2080 for there to be universal electricity access on the continent. Another generation of young people will miss the opportunity to help themselves out of poverty through the transformation that access to electricity in the home can bring," said the government. "A reliable electricity supply is one of the most powerful tools for lifting people out of poverty and ending dependency on aid," it added. Energy is a huge problem across Africa, despite being rich in oil and gas resources. Over 600.0 million people in sub-Saharan Africa have no access to electricity, representing 70% of the population whilst around half of all businesses in the region view the lack of electricity access as a "major constraint" to doing business, according to the UK government. Sub-Saharan Africa refers to the nations that lie below the Sahara desert, comprised of over 20 nations including South Africa, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Kenya. The problem is so wide spread that sub-Saharan Africa loses around 1.0% to 2.0% of its gross domestic product per year because of it. The lack of access also means that some pay up to 80 times more for their electricity compared to UK households. The goals of the Energy Africa campaign is to give the continent access to "affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy" by 2030. One of the key problems with providing continent-wide access is the fact it does not have a traditional grid system like those found in Europe and other more developed regions of the world, leaving millions of people isolated. "Reaching the more than 600 million people with no electricity in Africa with traditional grid systems will be a lengthy effort. Vast rural areas will have no realistic chance of being connected for decades," said the government. The key energy source the UK government wants to harness for Africa is solar power, focused on off-grid systems. It believes the "time is ri
looks like the RTO is gathering some interest...where are we heading.....
Up 13% and not even a whisper on here following the RNS today ? Where have all the PI's gone?
So Q4 is essentially when REDT becomes a functioning commercial entity... If the first smaller unit is in place in October to show clients/investors etc. and the other follow on units roll out during rest of Q4 then we should see a steady flow of orders commencing in December/January... So 2016 is when this business really comes alive... This of course all IMHO! Thanks CCE for the update, good to see progress... Please keep the news flow coming now, would be great to hear the locations of where the first units are going! Hoping NDA's etc are not preventing this data being released.
well lets hope so
It clearly suggests they were designs, hence only estimated reduction in size. Same RNS, always read the small print. -- Completion of the concept design of production optimised product range of REDT products; Anyway why look backwards now, we are at the point of delivering units.
