Maybe that was the reason for the recent drop
I suspect Winterflood Securities Limited had a 'conversation' prior to their investment....
Webba what happened if the remaining staff are still taking a wage trying to get a deal across the line? That will all need to be paid out from the remaining cash funds.
I am not saying this is a dog, but expect your money to be tied up for a while if the company goes into suspension there is no time limits on these things. Take a look at the holders at BOU still hoping for a deal 18 months in. Wages still need to be paid unless the staff are not taking any.
There is a lot of risk for potential decent rewards. KR BC
I bought in at almost 3p when it was going to the moon !!! I’d written this investment off so today’s news is a very welcome bonus. Not brave enough to add though.
Well atleast Greg will get Sweet FA back from his investment too in that case. I would have thought he'll try his damned hardest to avoid that.
IF they can't raise funds you o not get market cap back. You will get whatever cash remains minus liquidators fees etc (eg sweet FA) or the shares are permanently delisted and you end up holding worthless illiquid shares that you can't sell. Again, sweet FA.
Best of luck to anyone jumping in now.
Best leave it to us then Webba1.
:-)
Are you having a laugh. Risk vs reward. All the drop happened. It will suspend on 6th if no rto at which point it will be suspended until they raise funds Which is the plan. If they can’t raise the funds you get Market cap back- close to cash
Mcap £2M. Nobody buys over 11% of a company on a whim and the Non Exec Chairman also buying is a bonus imo...
how long suspension will for? what if they can't raise £6m?
lots of risk with this company
2 very positive RNS's which has to give peeps a high degree of confidence imo
This was my first entry point here. Still extremely cheap. Watch this fly back to 3p asap once more and more realise the potential here
Bit of a punt but just made my final purchase today of 310k shares. Fingers crossed....
I'm putting a 3p target on this one, short short term, over the next 7 days. Watch this space.
Remember that this dropped from 3p per share just 2 weeks ago, due to fear of liquidation here. Now that the director has bought a large stake here, and not that a new company has just picked up 12% of CCAP. I believe this to be completely derisked. The director would not buy if there was not a plan. Good luck all, this is a significant milestone for CCAP
definitely interesting...............
only a few more days to formal suspension on the 6th April but Good F and Easter Mon mean its going to be interesting between now and Thursday.
This is going straight back to 3p per share. Well done to those who bought the dip. We will be rewarded. Great signs all round. A company just bought 12% of the company. Wow this is amazing
Speaks volumes about what they already know and we are yet to find out!!
Fingers crossed!!
Wow now that’s confidence. 12% of the company taken in one sitting aswel as nick buying!!! Great news
Follow the money!
;-)
Me thinks Greg sees limited downside from here. He would know.
Bingo :-)
What’s with all the incredibly low buy and sell amounts? That all BOTS or something.
In other shell news, many thought all was lost at MTFB but now it Looks like They are going to be coming back with a bang after their long period of suspension, everything takes time.
A period of suspension is not the end for CCAP, new beginnings and all that.
Due to restrictions an investment company can invest in to companies that a normal RTO cannot, Investing companies find it easier to go for new start ups, smaller % stakes in what could be high growth, generally agnostic to sector so many more doors open, especially when they get the £7m in the bank.
I like the optimism. So, where's the buying at these levels to reflect it?
