I am questioning why he would pump money in if he didn’t believe in the growth plans. Put It this way - if it becomes insolvent because they cannot make it work- what good is the company to him even if he gets control? He would be left with some software with no sign of profitability. I can only assume he and the BOD believe this concept will take off. Just my thoughts.
Yes many mistakes and years of share price dropping but in nearly all cases the recovery can only take place with patience and a clear road to profits this is off the radar and the herd will not turn up yet invester111 you could do very well indeed
The company has made mistakes in the past and that has advisedly affected the shares. I admire them for coming out and staying this. This will move materially now on any positive news flow. I’m giving them the benefit of doubt that they are now on the road to recovery. What they are saying and doing seems to suggest things are going well albeit from a low starting point - ie revenue. This could be one of the most overseen stocks on the market if the company can demonstrate in the next trading update that they are on recovery to meet their own and market expectations. I am a large shareholder myself
The prospects are better in 2018 and the company is going to survive that is why they are buying in
Well I was saying several times that it appeared that a position was being built up, but as you say has been far more than a puny 100K. If threshold was crossed on 02/01/18, then has taken a long time to issue TR-1. The question is why anyone would buy into this when the prospects seem so doubtful? Or are we just jaded after all these years of failure! Unless it was just a P & D raid after all.....
Actually I think there is another major buyer. This nominee has only increased by 100,000 shares as I read it and I may be wrong but some of the other other buys have been much larger
Well there you go. We now know who was buying.
The sharp pullback makes sense after the big rise and news to come market cap too low if it is good news
A lot of credit goes to David gibbon I think who first steadied the ship and implemented tight cost control and the business model now looks like it is accelerating. Time will tell.
This is so hard to predict. Very high risk and a terrible history but the company has survived. If it has turned the corner there will be time to jump in just not on the spikes.
Another late large buy reported from Friday!
May be there is a reason for the recent rise after all. Hopefully find out at some point. Personally not convinced that profits are on the horizon just yet but more than happy to be proved wrong.
Some big buy trades going on here. Seems someone is accumulating!
Dustbin - do you hold stock in Cloudbuy ?

New look web page. Looks like we are entering a positive phase (not because of a web page change before someone comments!).
Not sure what she means by pullback entry at 6.1p. It’s 5.75p?!
No wonder their was a pullback the shares had risen from 2p to 8p most of these situations go back to say 2p but this is their biggest rise since 2013 if this moves to 10p with or without news then that is very bullish indeed
http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/8522/cloudbuy-focused-on-core-products-and-eyeing-profitability-after-34mln-fundraise-8522.html This is the only item on Cloudbuy in the last month other than the cash raising that was voted through. After listening a few times two aspects shout out.A and B. Starting with A, The extra 1.7M cash should be enough to hit profits. B. The flagship project for the 211 HNS members is where all the effort is being spent going for growth and profit.Reading between the lines if that fails its all over.
It would appear not so much why has risen, but why it fell in the first place.....and that was because there was a very real concern that the company would run out of money, and needed new financing... The fact they now have funding and there is mention of the word "profit" ...seems why investors have bought in The questions remains...what exactly does the CEO mean when he uses the word "profit"....at what level?????
It maybe that there is a buyer here as there has been no rns issued on why stock has risen. If it is a buyer than an rns may appear which may explain the rise. Looks like some good chunky buys
Any signal of on track to be profitable or ahead of expectations and this will really fly and I mean big time.

Went years ago by the looks of it. Management has increasingly focussed on cost and operational efficiencies to reduce losses. Actions taken during the 2015 and 2016 resulted in a reduction in administrative expenses of GBP2,104,693 which represents a 31% reduction. These actions include exiting from geographies which have limited opportunity for profit and an increased focus on products and geographies which have the highest chance of profit and shareholder return. The Board continues to seek efficiencies in the business.
