Sorry Danl90 an All, I didn't make it to the shops yesterday. I will update next time I do :)
Double oops that’s was this mornings!
Try again.

Oops I did it again.
17407@0.57116
Right on the bell.
I'm also in pretty deep and will add more when I exit other shares. This has always been a LTH for me.
Yes close to 80% of my portfolio and the only reason I am not ‘all in’ is keeping something back in case there is a RI. Crazy I know but I like crazy.
Roxburyhouse, I think you have more cash in these than I have in all my investments, I’m sure it will pay off but there is always a chance.
…and another 17407@0.57116
Won’t display yet and it’s each to their but I’m loading up on these and will keep doing so if they drop further.
Do your own research guys and please don’t gamble sorry invest more than you can afford to lose.
Carlost how was the store?
Also another little thing i keep my eye on is the £1.29 balloons at the till. They fill those and empty them so fast in Manchester. A great little add-on to any sale and I bet the mark-up isn't too bad on those
Doesn’t matter how much money you have, everyone loves a bargain
Sam Thompson (made in chelsea) birthday yesterday. If you look on his insta story it's card factory balloons and badges
If it's good enough for those In Chelsea! ha
It is a small world gents. I live in Durham but didn't work for bt. I am off to the Arnison center this afternoon. I will report back regarding how busy the card factory store is. :)
Small world stevebt I live in Birtley and used to work for BT! Get yourself to the Galleries and check out the Card Factory shop there. It’s constantly busy. I was in Leeds a few weeks ago and ended up (surprise surprise) in a store chatting to the manager and she said they have never been so busy even before Covid.
Metro Centre last weekend. 2 stores both busy. Everyone has come out of hibernation and wants to party.
Roxburyhouse , a Gateshead man . I live in Lowfell, topped up again today and as long as it stays this price and I have spare money I will always add to my holding.
Won’t show up yet but that 17266@0.577137 is mine taking my total to over 500,000.
It’s a no brainer.
Clinton's is well expensive. There's no end end to christenings, engagements, weddings, birthdays, illness's, funerals, Christmas's etc etc. The chief concern imo are turnover, lease covenants and service of any debt.
;-)
When I work from home I nip out for a walk at lunch. There are two Card stores in the Arndale (about 30 second walk from each other) both are busy almost all the time
There is a Clinton’s and it’s almost always dead
I think there’s a big upside of Clintons calls it a day
Ha ha Carlost I’m glad I’m not alone! Only a few miles away from you in Gateshead so I often nip over to the Galleries in Washington and I just cannot believe how busy it is. Always a queue at the till and always busy. So funny the other day when a lady walked out with a bundle of balloons including a life size balloon figure of a star wars trouper. Ha ha
Good morning All, I can't help observing CARD shops when I am out and about. Last month I was in Dorchester waiting in the shopping street for my wife. I was opposite a card factory shop which is next door to Clinton cards. I counted 9 customers in Card factory and one customer in Clinton. Last week mid morning on Friday I was in the Durham Card factory store and once again there was a steady stream of customers. Looking busy considering it's not Christmas, Easter, Father's or Mother's day. I am very optimistic!
