Yes I agree with Spike bearish market making 1p look very likely now.
Mr Somm - shame on you for helping us into another recession
It's been 2 months since the cessation RNS and hardly any news since then zzzzzz one for the bottom drawer. We might wake up one morning to a deal RNS. If this goes to 1p though then it's probably going to .5p
Ollie simply because it’s worth a throw of the dice at 1p, with maybe £1k, risk v reward is better, can I afford to lose £1k yes, can I afford to lose more no. It’s simple really. It’s still likely lights out Imo and no doubt a good Potter send off, but at 1p I will take the small odds just as you do when playing the casino. This will get to 1p helped by the bearish conditions. It’s not deramping it’s being transparent about my investing strategies given I was in here with 200,000 at 5p ish, before taking the loss around 2.5p, so I think I know full well all about the fraud which is bpc
Good luck you Scully, you're a brave man. This needs to hit 4p for me to break even
Scsiborg I had my final topup here yesterday - I think it could bounce from here with potentially 1p downside imho. If I'm wrong it's only a few quid lost. Well, a few grand more like. But it is AIM casino and I've made back the paper losses from this elsewhere in the past few weeks so I'll be ok. Got an average of just under 150p now so wouldn't take much to breakeven.
Because that's their target buy price obviously. They're deramping for it. Spike was saying it months ago. Truth is we're in a bear market and many shares have taken a hit recently.
Spike, if what you say is fact (gosh you're certainly ahead of the game then) and indeed what somm says is 100% correct, then why would you consider buying into BPC at any price? Indeed, why are you (and somm for that matter) still taking an interest in this share?
Olllie I’m not negative, it’s fact. I guess your well under water here and continue to swim with your eyes shut. It’s about reality, made even worse in a bear market where only exceptional news cuts it. Great post from somm below which sums it up. It’s not me that’s “full of it” it’s Mr Potter and the wonderful board of bpc! As I say, 1p will arrive at some point
Spike,
If you're so negative about the prospects for BPC, why would you hold them or seek to buy in at any price?
You are so full of it.
I have traded angus and ukog. But longer term my only significant interest down there was property.
Private Investor that was a joke but made out to be serious by Mr Neptuned lol. Which other shares are you in? Any Weald Basin ones?
IP address stems from 12th October. Where you implied somm and Neptune shared an IP address. Also referenced the type of accommodation. Was not your finest hour scully. Made note monday but was in a tranche of posts dropped from the BB. Presume this was an IT glitch as no negative reference or improper use of language.
I see the same old on here. Couple months and it will be lights out at this rate or HUGE dilution. Sub 1p worth a punt, imo we will have that come end of November, just as I said the 1.4p would be broken below. Sitting on my hands for a buy in but not looking good here anything over 1p
Mr Neptunes IP address? Nope that's something you made up. I made no mention of IP address or locations or anything. Feel free to date/timestamp this/these alleged post/s. You like to tell fibs don't you.
Scully12345 - thank you very much. :-) You're too kind to think soo highly of me, to again, pluck me from obscurity to comment. It was indeed pure luck on my part to buy in again at such a low average, to then bail out in profit and with a free carry. Unfortunately, rather like your comment in regards to you having my I.P address, your assumption in relation to my initial stake, is woefully below par.
Maybe if you had become my fan boi sooner, some of my luck would have rubbed off on you. Sorry to see your third attempt at lowering your average has meant you have made a loss :-)
I guess you will be spending the whole night and early morning selling this share even though the market is closed?
Could I ask that tomorrow you post (from the goodness of your heart) on this free BB that you have bought in again? I'm sure it must be that time again. ;-)
Mr Neptunes did well buying into this at 1p (£25 worth with his £1.50 share save plan) then selling at 7p for his whopping £150 profit! Well done Mr Neptunes and good show deramping this for your 1p re-entry!
Scsiborg,
I think your point around taking on outside help is very critical here. I'm quite sure Macquarie can broker a deal on behalf of BPC. They have track record. However, the key issue is what remit have they been given by the CEO? If he's told them to get "the moon & the stars", we've got a problem. However, if the remit is commercially sensible for all parties concerned, I think a deal will be struck.
I didn't like the "I don't know why they've ceased exclusivity" comment. To my mind, I can't believe that is the case. I believe he knows but could not say, and rather than say "I can't say, NDA etc, etc", he blurted out "I don't know". If that is the case, he should have corrected himself - at the time or later. I think he would have garnered more respect then.
For what it's worth, I believe (and hope) we are in negotiations with multiple parties and I hope for a joint deal to be announced in the not-too-distant future.
All IMO. GLA
I would be very interested to gauge the response here. Are you confident in potters ability to broker a deal and or his style of communication, is this man still the right person for the job?
At this point i'm going to say. Yes, but just barely, and that's only due to his willingness to take on outside help.
Please state your opinion.
