I'm going through the exercise of sorting my share accounts and was wondering whether there is any point at all in keeping the defunct BMR shares? I can have them transferred onto a share certificate and close down the account they are held in but is it likely to be worth bothering for some future value?
Sorry if it is a daft question folks!
They are now known as Kendrick Resources so there might be some development sometime, maybe relisting or maybe not!!
Os. Mine were sent to me in certificated form by HSBC upon delisting.
I have the certificate framed on the wall as a reminder of how not to invest.
Might be worth checking this out, From Kendrick (BMR) website
20/01/2021 BMR agreement to acquire nickel and vanadium interests in Scandinavian projects from Pursuit Minerals
Don't mention Sweden to EricD.
Aaaaaaargh!

Hi Guys. Sorry for jumping on someone else's post here. Looking for some advice.. been told by my broker i cant transfer these out as the share is delisted... Currently these are with ii (was with beaufort and then share centre and now ii- all with me not moving broker! But with buy outs etc) I transferred all shares out from share centre afew years ago other than this (as couldnt). Would any kind soul be able to advise best action from here? Im sure i was told by share centre i couldn't get this in certificate form either as was delisted... or can I? Guess the answer will be check with ii but just wanted to see if anyone else had got these in certificate form since it delisted thise many years ago. Cheers
Are you maybe confusing delisted with winding up? BMR still exists as a company, albeit with a new name now. All that's happened is that there is currently no trading platform for shareholders.
Come to think of it there is bugger all else for shareholders.
I reckon you have 2 options here. Firstly get in touch with the company registrars, presumably with some proof of ownership, and sign an indemnity so you can have a new certificate issued.
Secondly, get in touch with Alex Borrelli and see if he will buy the shares off you. After all, he insisted to me in a telephone conversation after the delisting that even at that time, the shares were worth multiples of the pre-delisting price of around 1.90p so I would imagine he will bite your hand off at a few pence per share.
Good luck with option 2 by the way.
Hi 3cardbag. Im aware its not winded up and its delisted.. lets see how long it takes to get th m to list Kendrick resources. Thought i would check here as someone mentioned they got the shares in certificate form from HSBC i think it was when BMR delisted. However i was told by share centre i couldnt as was an unlisted share. Its now with ii and i was going to put in a complaint as share centre has been bought out by ii so they have taken on all of share centres liabilities.
Hi. It may have been my own post some while back. My BMR shares were in my HSBC isa. I didn't get a choice, they were removed from the ISA and sent to me in certificate form
Just one point to add. From memory the telephone conversation with Borrelli was after suspension and not after delisting.
