Been waiting patiently since 2011. Think that's patient enough.
Seriously though I'm not sure our future is entirely in JLP's hands. I am fairly certain I will make lots of money from my JLP shares but even if that happens, I'm not at all certain I'll make ANY money from my BMR shares.
Good luck though
3card
Bring,
A little patience please, JLP are busy becoming successful :-)
Seriously though, JLP holders are on tenterhooks too. We are bursting to see Kabwe come online.
A Friday 13th GM would be very fitting for this horror story! Something is stirring behind the scenes... these Lawyers must be costing a fortune. It's about time they delivered the goods instead of stringing us along.
Bring, he’ll probably leave it until the following week, Friday the 13th, at least I’ll be able to take a chainsaw ??
"I'm convinced they will be the death of BMR as a Company. " Hilarious.
BMR killed itself, end of and period.
If Mr Coetzer and Mr Bird were to turn up, I think they would get a frosty reception. It would get much warmer if they turned up with a big cheque book though...
I believe AB was looking to hold the General Meeting on the same day as JLP's AGM (6th December). From what I can gather, you have to give at least 2 weeks notice for the meeting, and I know he wanted to give instruction to the printers on Thursday to send Circulars out on Friday. Perhaps the intent was so Leon and Colin could attend BMR's GM?
However, I don't know if the Circulars were printed, because JLP were supposed to add certain information in and they still hadn't done it, and the deadline for the printers was looming. As always, we are waiting on JLP to sort things from their end. I'm convinced they will be the death of BMR as a Company. Better start contacting the Lawyers...
What's that noise? Oh don't worry it's just the deafening sound of silence coming from Borrikhani's cakehole.
Absolute f*****g disgrace this.
Borrellikani seems to have abdicated all responsibility for the carnage he has brought to shareholders investments.
He can continue shrugging his shoulders and drawing a salary until every last penny has been bled out.
Utter disgrace of a specimen.
Alex needs to go share holder value and imminently sick of listening to his rubbish with share holders left in the dark makes me angry
Bracey, you won't get a reply. AB went to ground ages ago.
Next step will be an announcement at some time in the future out of the blue.
From that announcement, we will know if we have any sort of a future here or whether we have finally been well and truly shafted. It's not in our hands.
Hi have emailed Alex for any updates no reply as usual tried calling not in office message you get from a lady answering.Does any one know if JLP have started any work at Kabwe as doesn’t seem like any news flowing?
Saw your name up there brynjon and thought I would say hello. Yep, didn't turn out how I had hoped and I hope not too many of the 'old guard' got burned. Cold and wet up north brynjon. Take care bonny lad.
Hi Stu - like you I have not looked in very often lately as too painful a memory lol - plus there is not a great deal to say about Bozza and his predecessor that has not already being said. Sadly I have written this off as a bad job and I could have done without being taken in by the shyster's golden tongue and promises of rainbow riches and those of MA of course.
We proper northerners have enough to endure. Stay safe.
Not been here for a while - anybody still out there??? Playing catch up and rather wish I hadn't - think I preferred blissful ignorance. Hope some of the long termers are ok and working through this mess.
mebo, sorry to hear that they have gone very south. With all the pomp of the exec travelling to places and inviting shareholders to join him etc I was surprised to see it drop from the highs so quickly. It is not a club we aspire to become members of, though the membership numbers are sadly swelling.
Stay safe.
About time Borrelli surfaced with some sensible news. He’s a kin to Farage on Steroids, give me £100 and I’ll give you a chance to see my clean pair of heels. 1 for 1 for the Royalty and all the material that creates the value, 1 for 2 is still a giveaway as without the dumps Kabwe is nothing. As we know from the license debacle, something bad always lurks around the corner, JPL should close the deal before anything adverse might occur, the hierarchy might need their coffers filled again.
Always sorry to hear of investor losses, but never surprised.
Think most AIM ‘investors’ would’ve done better withdrawing their pot in £5 notes and throwing them on top of an open fire. At least we’d have felt warm for a short while.
We’re mugs for believing that this casino owed us anything. A market dominated by spivs and Belfort type characters.
Esoteric knowledge required to succeed.
I learnt yesterday that another investment of mine Sound Energy has also gone a similar way to Bmr,so far nearly every penny i've put into Aim company's has gone south.
I now wish with hind sight i'd put the lot into lloyds ,at least i'm getting a decent divi off them.
Bring - in an ideal world, one couldn't disagree with your hypothesis. But the world isn't ideal and we have been dealt a shiite hand. The value of the royalty is only of any use to us if it can be unlocked and quickly.
Borrelli has his own agenda and will be well ****sed off with LTHs for having stood in its way. All he need do if push comes to shove is run the clock down and eventually we will lose everything. He needn't worry as this is only a part time income for him and he certainly won't lose any sleep over us.
So whilst 1 for 5 sticks in my craw, I could probably accept 60000 JLP shares right now just to walk away from this stinking mess. Maybe we are in danger of throwing the baby out with the bath water. Just my thoughts.
Couldn't agree more, Klue. 1 for 5 would value the Royalty at less than 1p. In the BMR accounts, the Royalty is supposed to be valued at £10m which is 3.5p a share, bearing in mind we were trading around 2p before suspension. Even £10m is fairly low considering the potential future value. Why should we accept some low ball offer when we've already been taken to the cleaners, and not for the first time for some shareholders...
The way I see it JLP have 3 options:
1. Acquire EML and give us the 11% Royalty.
2. Do nothing and we retain 12.5% project ownership.
3. Buy the 11% Royalty or 12.5% project interest.
If it's option 3, it will need to be a bloody good offer. Otherwise we vote against.
It just seems insane to me that shareholders should accept anything they’re offered (e.g 1 for 5) given how JLP are talking about Kabwe. Even Borrelli knows in the future it could be quite a valuable royalty. I’d like an update just to know how long we can remain solvent. I’d rather (if possible) we sat on our hands than tried to fund some random exploration in Chile or wherever. Just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
Fair point Klue and let's face it they recently set a precedent with the £5m outlay for the remainder of Hernic.
Bearing in mind that Kabwe potentially dwarfs Hernic, It seems pretty sensible to me at the right price.
That said, and in relation to your final point, at the moment our shares are technically worthless and untradeable so I would say anything reasonable should be accepted. Bird in the hand and all that.
I took a decent wedge of JLP last year as a hedge and am currently £3.5k up and looking at much more. Obviously to offset paper losses of well over £20k in BMR rather than increase my kid's inheritance. Ouch!!
In a 1 for 2 scenario it wouldn’t even be a 10% dilution in JLP shares in issue. If the way they are talking about Kabwe comes to fruition it would be an extremely low cost option to acquire 100% and would cost them nothing in capital.
I don’t think we have anything to lose by proposing something along those lines.
1 for 5 and you’re valuing our 11/12.5% at next to nothing. Same as Borrelli.
I am in jlp now and am doing quite well. I would be happy if they considered jlp shares for bmr shares. I would be quite happy with 1 jlp for 5 bmr shares. I am not to sure we would get anything better
