astec123: It's a rare event when a good news RNS is released on a Friday on AIM - as you'll likely know. Could be intra-day or after hours (after hours being another rare time to deploy good news). 'Snouts in the trough' RNS will arrive at the earliest opportunity - of that you can be pretty certain.
Hope I'm wrong but I'm not getting a good feeling about this - and reading between the lines I'm not alone.
As you say Chesh, the share options price is to all intents and purposes more or less sealed as it is based on the average for the month, 24 hours is not going to make that much difference, so why are they delaying issuing results to the last possible moment. I expect someone will say they are dotting the i's and crossing the t's, and perhaps they are, but they have had six months to do that.
Julys' shares for salaries should be at a higher SP, 3-5p.........?
"The number of shares was calculated by dividing the amount of monthly salary or fee to be paid in Options by the volume weighted average price of the ordinary shares during the calendar month that the services were provided."
Releasing news at the end of this calendar month has sealed the price for June, but they can't delay for July's.........! :)
All the best (less of the already minimal dilution, and longer term cash saving whether necessary or not..........! :()
My take on it is if they release the rns tomorrow and get a rise in sp,the snouts in trough rns on Monday won't look so bad....
I have been thinking the same , but shameless if it’s right , but I am of the mind they want to keep it as close as possible so they can get more shares into the rise, pretty shameless of them of true , but I only see this share going one way. In a way doing me a favour as I want to buy some more before q2 update , and I will be very happy if I can get them sub 2p
TF ...hope your right we are all waiting for a big jump.......
It could land after hours or 7am tomorrow, for some unknown reason they are withholding until as late as possible to be near to employees & directors share options and before Quarterly Update possibly next week. Read into this what you want, but I feel good news will be announced after the kitchen sink has been thrown in. GLA
We had 84 pages of annual report for 2022 - with a detailed update on everything you’d expect. I’m anticipating the same today
yep.......!
RNS's all over the place today, but here.........!
All the best (we wait.......! :(
No RNS...
https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Oil-Likely-To-Hit-200-SEB-Group.html
Come on PH. Time to get the oil flowing!
Tomorrow it is then for us Mushrooms to see some light!
.......also ...........!
Must big up Geowiz for not using the usual go to term "farm"............!
All the best (ha ha, peeps want in ya know.........! :()
Geowiz is at least our "prat" Hepseal.......! :)
My thoughts on a fund raise equal zero TBF...... as fully funded is what it says........! :()
All the best (not including a "handshake"............! ;()
Geowiz - stop being a prat.
You are ignoring (again) the likely $2M - $3M revenue from oil sales in Q2
Cash in bank was $1.2 mm at the end of March
Not enough to pay salaries and hire a rig n crew etc
I agree they need finance. But who’s likely to think this will give a return?
Geowiz
They have more cash than what you keep spouting and this will enable them to drill WRB-1
IMO they do not have as much cash as some seem to think (and yes, I do know what it says in the RNS,s)
Chesh
Based upon my slightly pessimistic views above I suspect the cash conservation scheme will have to go on until such time as and WRB-1 starts to flow at a respectable amount.
The above is only my opinion at the moment and I may amend that opinion once I have seen the Q2 Operations Update.
meh........! :)
I did see someone pop up a Q during the PH bashing parade the other day, about what to do with shares in the EBT should the cash conserving options be ended........!
Popped in to treasury is my go to......! :)
I'm genuinely interested into peeps thoughts as to should they, or not end the cash conservation scheme........? Even at most peeps BE it's half dilution and double longevity..........!
All the best (fully funded sides on.........! :()
If there’s no cash they can’t crack on with any sidetrack
This simply doesn’t generate enough oil flow/ cash flow to sustain itself..
I'm quite thick........... skinned BTW
Ha, Ha - Not sure the first bit is true in your case but ditto!!
No probs Hepseal.........!
I refer to my post a few weeks back regarding the time of the release (on the day) and it's impact on the SP with ref to the monthly salary for shares RNS.........!
That scenario could happen, and much as I'm up for cost saving...... I'd rather the SP be higher to 1: dilute less and 2: lengthen the cost saving process..........! :)
But I'm on this side of the process, not on the receiving end..........!
All the best (I'm quite thick........... skinned BTW..........! :()
BOB..agree ... a line from that country song by GB .... if tomorrow never comes ........
Will it make any difference to the results when they are issued? Whether it be morning, noon or night ? Cracking on with the sidetrack is more important. Come on PH.
Chesh - not trying to upset you, but:
"All the best (timing wise, early doors, intra day or after hrs is another fing.........! :()"
I have a long memory - On the 30th April 2020 they issued Audited results at 18.29 (different accounting timetable then).
Just stating facts, nothing more, nothing less.
Fink so ROCKLAWN..........!
6 months after YE, and end June would be that.........! :)
All the best (timing wise, early doors, intra day or after hrs is another fing.........! :()
