Seems like a rather large drop on little news

I didn't actually know the reason for such a large fall (after checking for a headline reason) -
basically it fell today as it did last week on xd and then a little more.
It was already trading at a big discount to NAV, and now even more so.
For technical reasons I was unable to purchase on xd day, so today gave me the opportunity that i missed out on then.
I also topped up today, as I had a buy order in at 472 which was triggered. I'm amazed that the SP has fallen over 9% on a broker opinion, which has affected LAND in a similar way. I'm betting that the effect of Merrill Lynch BOA report will wear off within a few days, in which case today's fall will be seen as a buying opportunity. Time will tell!

the valuation slowly recovering from the Covid 19 lows - still a long way off of the over 800p level that I sold some at on 20th Jan 2015 - have the property valuations/business really dropped so far in the last 6 to 7 years to warrant the current share price?.

Encouraging rise today
at about 435p
Welcome aboard Andy great share to hold i have kept buying on any dips in the market .The dividend is back as well In October we announced the intention to resume paying dividends semi-annually, fixed at 80% of Underlying EPS based on the most recently completed six-month period. Today the Board are declaring an interim dividend for the six-month period ending 30 September 2020 of 8.40 pence per share. Payment will be made on Friday 19 February 2021 to shareholders on the register at close of business on Friday 8 January 2021. The interim dividend will be a Property Income Distribution and no SCRIP alternative will be offered.
I thought today could be good to open an position
Probably some profit taking after the recent rise and also the old adage buy on rumour sell on news! At least the dividend is resuming.
Another silly knee jerk reaction to an entirely predictable trading update. What were people expecting? As usual, the sp will probably recover once the market has got over today’s flap.
more of the same. Onwards and upwards
then to log the 22% rise in share price on the first trading day of the week, following the great vaccine news out of Pfizer.
Great to see news of a dividend resumption on the cards will boost share price a little
