I am agree. Let them get on with it. It is pure conjecture to assume that they should be out there promoting wildly on this news. I could suggests lots of reasons, all pure conjecture.
1) JD is self-isolating due to having COVID-19 so can't be out there doing the rounds
2) He has been advised to hold off as he will be accused of ramping if he does lots of PR (we heard it all last year) and also he should concentrate on running the business
3) Perhaps they are waiting based on the assumption that they have other irons in the fire and the PR will be most effective when they have numerous games to highlight.
4) Perhaps they want to wait until their is some data behind the deal
5) Perhaps they have realised that they are better using their limited resources talking to the people who will do business with them rather than promoting random investors that don't really matter. They got their funding, and next time around (assuming there is one) they will either have something tangible to push or noone will be buying anyway.
I am sure there a lots more...
See how blind you all are, That's how comes many are sitting with massive losses. After saying that , The last few PR rounds were not so good, Maybe they are keeping JD away from the media, His PR record is not so great
If JD needs to do a podcast for you to realise a deal with Ubisoft, for a game with millions of players, is great news then you shouldn't be here. Find another share to spout your nonsense, it's massively boring!
I would expect a press release and then him to get on with the task at hand... getting into more games! Forget PR rounds that is not what we need for the business to progress, we need actual progress.
I don't think it is a ridiculous comment, Would you have expected JD to be doing the PR rounds on such good news, If the news was that great, He should have been out there telling people what a good deal it is
I must admit I am struggling with this board and some of the ridiculous comments on here...
I think we can all agree that the latest RNS can only been seen as potentially very good news. Ubisoft is a big games publisher, with titles like Assassins Creed and Watch Dog Legions. Hyper Scape is I believe their first 'free to play' game, and I get the impression that this was designed with advertising content revenue in mind, almost as a test game. If this works well and drives good revenues then this really could open the door to other new opportunities.
So we have landed a new game AAA publisher, besides Codemasters and FM. Without doubt this will lead to increased revenues moving forwards, that goes without saying. I must admit I would have expected the SP to have gone higher, inevitably as the increased revenues are seen it will. 6p really does look a bargain taking into account how far we have come in the last 12 months and the sheer potential of this.
Well done JD you are starting to deliver what you have always promised.
Dont you just get that sinking feeling when a RNS drops with no Figures and on top of that , No PR rounds from the CEO, Nothing, Makes you wonder what kind of deal it is and what revenue if any will be generated .
This time last year , we were all going to be rich, So much for that.
JD had a chance to get out in Media land and spread the word. and he didn't, let down again
