CRKK but the shares were not gifted, they would have to give you money , so you have 50% of the car plus the cash.
CRK, that is wrong. Basic accountancy mate:
Dr Cash
Cr Equity
The extra dilution is offset by the extra cash. So in your instance the person taking on the car is putting cash in the glove box and adding £10k (the cash) to the value. The asset value (car) is still worth £10k, but it has £10k of cash in the glove box.
In BCNs instance, the new mcap is a reflection of the multiple of the higher number in shares in issue, with the difference being the value of cash.
BCN still working on project financing ... IMO that´s the only reason for still very low MC ...
But I´m sure with Ganfeng OnBoard project financing should be no problem now ...

I expect half year report very soon - tomorrow ? - and hope for more information there regarding Sonora project financing and Zinnwald spin off plans...
I own 100 shares having complete control of a car and the value is 10K
someone is gifted 100 new shares in the car
There are now 200 shares, the value of the car is still 10K but my share is now 50% of that
I can't see how new shares in issue can do anything but cause dilution.
But even so this would still only make the MCAP £72M ish at todays prices.
Pathetic really !!
I have been in this share for 6 years and am now fed-up after today...
There is dilution. The number of shares in issue is increasing by 42% from 134.5m to 191.7ish.
but have you allowed for the £21,963,740 which is being added to our assets, plus the experience Ganfeng brings to the table
Yeah I agree that they wont be selling but I think the new shares still need issued. From the RNS it sounds like there will be dilution to me. Hopefully I'm missing something
"Application has been made for the 57,600,364 new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to occur on or around 18 October 2019. These new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. Following admission of the new ordinary shares, there will be 192,065,236 ordinary shares in issue. This number may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company."
As the Vice President of Ganfeng has today been appointed a director of Bacanora Lithium plc. they are hardly going to be sellers. I expect a gradual rise in the share price as the news sinks in whilst the traders move on, which is much better than a spike.
I hope you are right IG, apologies if i caused a bit of a panic there but i'm still pretty new to all this!
Are the shares not just getting issued to Garfeng ie not on the open market.Garfeng having acquired a percentage of the company wouldn't be selling any of there shares surely?
Has anyone been through this before where new shares have been issued?
Are we expecting a big drop when this happens on 18th?
If market cap stays the same i see us being back in the mid/high 20's for SP.. please someone tell me otherwise
