They may aswell written the takeover in manderin and it wouldn't madecno difference to me....but thanks to Dee, tomcat, john and all other informative posters who shone a light on this dubious takeover regarding the process. After all this over, i think i'll go back to the premium bonds....good old Ernie!!!!!
John,
I am not vastly experienced investor, and have been confused from day 1, and even more so now with no RNS confirming >75% acceptance, and thus have been trying to take in all informative posted here to make an informed decision. My concern is that we will be in no-mans land between 75 & 90%, but suspect the suspension this morning is a strong arm tactic to get them over the line...wherever that is now....i will ring HL again tomorrow and ask them for more details/schedule of events upto payment.....
a special dividend subject to an offer becoming unconditional in all respects (uiar)… will be marked ex-dividend two business days following announcement of the offer becoming uiar (if the announcement is made before 8.00am)… or three business days following… (if announced after 8.00am)… the date the offer is announced as uiar will normally be the record date… https://docs.londonstockexchange.com/sites/default/files/documents/dividend-procedure-timetable-2021.pdf …
Only just come back, confused by the SP today. Did BCN go xd at market open or market close?

I guess you realise from the way you write that you realise HL is wrong? I think you should make it clear that you will hold them responsible if they give you bad advice on this
I can still accept and just have on my Halifax account, but have no option on my HL account. Rang HL this morning and they said it accepting or not, would make no difference as it is closed and the T/O approved....
so we could have just 3,482,612 pi / small investors shares now being traded on the market that don’t need to be reported on form 8.3’s…
72,755,288 + 24,041,791 = 96,797,079 + 3,482,612 = 100,279,691 shares yet to be acquired by ganfeng…
Has anyone here been approached by gangfeng to buy their znwd shares?
18.79% + 6.21% = 25.00%… mmm… that looks a bit dubious… or just another coincidence… lol… should i stay or should i go now…
add to those…

only 3 reported that they crossed below 1%… do they not need to report once they accept the offer to sell their shares to ganfeng… particularly now that it’s unconditional…
this I would like to know. anyone
it’s getting a bit scary isn’t it… especially after this morning’s unannounced suspension…
....different brokers doing the same things differently LoL
i can vote accept with my broker until 11.59pm on 21st (ii). The offer document states acceptances to be allowed up to 14 days after offer goes unconditional......we should get an RNS update about this
@jonesy - agreed it sounds good, but what have they actually done on the ground? They're only at feasibility stage; no offtakes, no project finance, no pilot plant. The same goes for ZNWD, although i do feel there is a chance of a bigger fish swallowing up the smaller project.
.... that you can no longer vote 'accept' doesn't stop them buying the remaining 1% they require to delist on market .... there's been a number of sizeable trades reported over the last couple of days ....
@ Jonesy64 -- I'll put EMH on that list, although I haven't been following it closely because the size of the deposit is not as important as the annual production, which they say is 25000 mt/yr -- just another mine, one might say. And it's a JV so they only get half of that. And until recently, Czech politics were dicey. Still are, when you have a foreign minister who is a member of something called the Pirate Party.
Not sure how, I still can't vote
(Adding that Ganfeng requires 75% in acceptances for Bacanora Lithium to delist)
Bacanora Lithium PLC - developer of Sonora lithium project in Mexico - Acquisition by Ganfeng International Trading (Shanghai) Ltd has become unconditional, following the satisfaction of the Mexican Antitrust Clearance condition.
Ganfeng now requires acceptances from 75% of Bacanora shareholders for the company to apply for its shares on AIM to be cancelled. Ganfeng currently has irrevocable undertakings from 283.9 million shares, reflecting 74% of Bacanora's issued share capital.
I don't know why it was trading at 70p this morning, unless someone was caught in a short squeeze. If it doesn't include the ZNWD shares, why would a buyer pay 70p for something Ganfeng has offered only 67.5p?
Price slipped below recent 15.5p placing. Deal sweetner less sweet

I'm surprised you omitted EMH off your European Lithium list. Cinovec is the largest deposit in Europe by a country mile.
today is ex-date… 20dec2021… not sure if that’s 6.00pm though… as it was for the record date…
open again… wonder if it had something to do with this…
a buyer of bcn shares ahead of the ex-date (as set out in the below table) will also acquire the benefit of the zinnwald distribution… and the seller will need to pass the benefit of the zinnwald distribution to the buyer… even if the seller remains as the registered owner of the bcn shares on the record date…
