Not a share I am familiar with at all. Thought after a quick look the 25% drop was over done, but 5% drop since then. I will just hold now and wait.
Thanks for that - still on the sidelines here
http://www.barchart.com/cheatsheet.php?sym=AVV.LS According to this the new support was 15.35 which it has bounced up from this morning As I have stock I'm not familiar with I probably won't average down again unless it goes low 14's
Down over £11 within a calander year - next support level anyone?
Was a good try, but falling back now LP 15.62 - 15.65
Looks like we might go over £16 today Might be back in overall profit later this week! LP15.90
Back above £15.80. Well done anyone who caught the knife at the bottom this morning.
Yes a bit worrying if they get it wrong by such a wide margin. I see no one is below 1600, which is good.
Not invested here but looking for possible recovery play, drop seems unjustified, however one thing that stuck out was Investec issuing a buy report at 2,685 on 1st August, and now a hold six weeks later at 1,600p , a 40% drop in their valuation. Makes you wonder how close to these companies the ratings agencies are !
I bought first high 1600's last week so averaged out - not in profit overall - yet! LOL If I caught it at the low it will have been the best CALCULATED trade made in 4 years! If not I'll buy more at the next pivot point - low 1400's
TTH...you called it right fell to £15.54 and now picking up slightly. If you got in at the low, you could be OK
Bought the same again for £1554.12 Time will tell......
According to barchart sitting right on support atm
oouch that's sharp
Keep your tin hat on fella
Think I caught it inches from the floor. Let's hope it doesn't fall out of my hand later today !
Jinksy, not sure if this is a falling knife ! But I am in at £15.89,,,,,see what happens
LP 1592 Next level of support shown as 1554 I'll pick up more if we go there - watching...
May not have settled yet Good luck
I think a 25% drop is a little too far. Worth investing on Monday !
averaged down - hope there will still be a Christmas!
I have taken a hit holding this one on sound fundamentals and cant understand such a dramatic drop either - i will hold as this share will recover - note statement "As stated in the Q1 IMS in July, the timing of renewals will result in more revenue falling into the second half of the current financial year compared to previous years. In addition, as previously noted, the benefits of 'One AVEVA' are expected to begin to accrue in the second half. Furthermore, in light of the performance to date, we are reviewing our headcount growth plans and discretionary expenditure." All the best whatever you do but much to cheap to sell now.
23% drop justified? Has a little dabble - got the same to average down if it drops another quid - looking at 2-3 year chart
Its not my style to boast but my posts in January have been justified - Good company for trader - investor!
