Agree Fuse7. I would even be tempted to buy more if I had any spare cash, but just buying a property and need every penny for a deposit.
Very poor results -
"...with the hope that we see a return to mass gatherings at sporting events in early 2021."
Not a reassuring line.
I bought on the basis of the need for lots of temporary facilities, which they state in the RNS but seemingly this was not enough to prevent a big loss. I just don't see where revenue is going to come from if the world is going into hibernation for at least the rest of the year.

With many parts of the world seemingly on the path of returning to normality, could now be the time to buy back in to Arena?
https://total-market-solutions.com/2020/07/02/arena-events/
Agreed Terry, this hasn't bounced back yet. Surely 12p a share is doable this year??? Things are opening up and will continue too. Local lockdowns look like the way forward now. And with quick accurate testing starting to be manufactured, you do a test and in to your live event
follow the money guys, buy cheap and wait as lockdown is eased this will be back at 12-15p in no time. even if events get the go ahead behind closed doors ARE will benefit hugely. Fully funded, last placing was over subscribed by big insitutes.
shares in issue 247m, current SP 6.75p - £16m MCap.........They've got funds of £14.5m from placing & Bank facility
At the fund riase (95m shares issued) Tasheel subscribed to 60m, Lombard Odier took 18.8m and CeO took 2.5m. That leaves only 13.7m of placing shares not in sticky hands......
SP of 10p was also a 71% premium to the then SP......
Tasheel & Lombard Odier took most of end March 10p £9.5m fund raise (while events cancelled & covid in full flow) at 71% premium to the then SP.
HSBC bank facility (they would have wanted a clear company view) also means £14.5m of cash start of April.
Things now opening up.......we have sreamlined, now to business.....
ARE hire out seating, metal fencing, tables ect.. pubs opening up so this should start to move soon
I have seen. Really a difficult share to size up
"bomb" may be apt terms
ticking time bomb this stock is
The pubs restaurants, and hairdressers will reopen on the 4th of July https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-53146191
wont be long until the events will slowly come back in the picture
Raised £9.5m in recent placing (End march) with Tasheel (links to Saudi Prince) taking a large chunk with option to join BoD and Lombard increasing (have joined BoD). Tasheel added in placing probably after Arena's superb Stadium built for Joshua V Ruiz fight Dec 2019. These two took lions share imo
Funds raised at a 71% premium to the then SP
CEO stated now Funded through 2020
Merging divisions to focus service and become more streamlined
Mooted bid of circa 25p for company halted in Feb due to covid (recent stremlining of company makes a reapproach bid esier and less messy)
Has been a seller(s) but volume over last 4 weeks should have cleared small TR1s. Tasheel, Lombard largest holders and will be bidders imo

https://arenamea.com/news/arena-group-announces-merger-of-uk-europe-and-middle-east-asia-divisions/
filtered him - re read RNS - there was a bid in the process in Feb .........
And loving it! This is the only way to make money. Shorts the new long. Sooner you realise it the better.
Shortseller enters chat ....
I think your talking out your ar*e banker. Takeover get real. “Idiot“
This business is overvalued, hyped up and ripe for shorters. It will all come tumbling down very soon.

Here is an excerpt:''His hope is that normality will return in January 2021 when golf’s European Tour begins its desert swing in Dubai. Still with its revenues, and costs trimmed back, Arena has ample liquidity to get through to that date and beyond.''
