I think buying more machines is more beneficial for ARB than providing a dividend or a share buyback.
;)
I think a dividend who prove far more beneficial for the SP than a share buyback !
I dont think people understand the situation here. Even at $8000 BTC price at which the hash rate will not increase we would be making over £10m a year when all machines to be delivered are online. Id be happy with that and the price doubling to $16000 after halving to maintain those profits. Personally i think the company need to allocate around £2m to a share buyback to help re-rate the SP back to where it should be closer to 10p. As the profits are re-invested into new machines the profit will continue to grow
Maybe but only if BTC goes above 12000 before halving.
I still see this as going over 10 around MARCH
holding core and just trade around the fringes.
Are you still HOLDING some or sold the lot?
ARB wont bottom until BTC bottoms, timing buys in ARB means timing the BTC turn.
Looks like this is about to bounce now... I topped up at 6.50 but hey hard to get every thing RIGHT...
Glad I haven't topped up yet ! Will wait for BTC to bounce first ! $8.4k just broken so just see what happens from here !
Thats where your wrong Querty a lot of very efficient mining farms coming online.
very many of the old inefficient miners are long gone.
Sounds like your more than happy to see ARBs margins crash and a share price around 3-4p
I do not want that. I want BTC below $10000 for H1 including after the halving and ideally around $7000 now and rising up to $10000 for the halving. At halving most miners will not be making money and the hash rate will plummet and ARb can hopefully build up a small stash of BTC and sell it when the BTC price re-rates to $15000 plus. I think the company needs to continue buying more machines and max out their 64 GW power supply and possibly even increase it. Dividends or share buybacks should be considered from 2021 imo. Maybe the company can also look into ways to reduce its electricity costs by building a solar plant or something similar.
After the halving a BTC price of 16,000 will obviously give the same revenue as 8,000
At present BTC hasnt broken out of the corrective phase.
I think once the market can see BTC continuing the bull market, hold above 9500 then investors will be more inclined to buy and hold, ARB will rerate very quickly based on fundamentals.
I expect the company to have a cash balance north of £10m come year end based on conservative figures. If BTC doubles at the halving from this level then I think cash will be closer to £15m this all assumes they do not invest cash in further machines which I think they will do. Personally I think they should aim to get 3000 T17’s per quarter starting from Q2 and then assess growth based on BTC price and difficulty.
Just the herd following the sp, not even looking at fundamentals, trading is very light in volume, this will be well north of this price by end of year!
JH - Totally agree with your statement in regards to the SP being tied to the price of BTC. Obviously will have to rerate in time and not be so closely linked, but due to the nature of the business the price of BTC is always going to have a direct impact on the company`s revenue and profit so will always affect the SP. Saying that if you believe in BTC you have to believe in ARB. obviously no one really knows what BTC is going to do, but if it does fly then there will be no better share on the Market to be in other than ARB. Obviously that is my just my opinion but do have high hopes for this share.
i sold a couple of trades from the low to mid 5s so im guessing a few have done the same.
TheDuke All mad agree based on Fundamentals, however ARB price is 95% tied to BTC and around 5% tied to Fundamentals of the business. A Position here at present is simply a geared play on BTC until the market sees otherwise.
It is just crazy... price should have been going up after 10 fold increase... bought few at 6.50... will HOLD till next results... this will get over 10... I wonder who is selling and if they are selling in profits...
I will be topping up here ! Absolute bonkers SP and MCAP !! BTC so volatile I imagine people too afraid to risk it. As they say fortune favours the brave - I will be in for a few more today !
all very predictable and tiresome . doesn`t shake my belief here but jeez some bed wetters here
