I confess you've lost me a bit, wealdpwr: JT-P is the founder of, and a significant and influential shareholder in, ANGS, I don't think I'm saying anything very controversial in saying that.
apologies for typo sick=stock
YL,
wealdpwr didn't say "Nothing has Changed", he said, and I quote: "Same team, still controlled by JTP".
I don't understand your logic,.... Are we back to the Lucanista, JTP was unhappy argument therefore he made a move? Even though he was clearly responsible for Brockham operations. Nor did JTP have the support of the independent board members....Given this statement and your last to YL , you now agree JTP is in complete control. ..maybe just for now, I'm not putting sick into it , literally...I don't think it is important , what is important is the LL, JTP track record and by every measure it is poor.
Wealdpwr and I (as individual investors) are allowed to have different opinions... Ocelot! lol ;-)
...although I doubt either of us disagree on the principle that Toxic Tidswell has been a common painful thread throughout this whole sorry affair.
When Wealdpwr says Nothing has Changed... he's right... NOTHING HAS (whilst Tidswell's still pulling strings). let's see how fast he finds his way back onto the board of directors... because I don't think we will have to wait very long!!!!!!
wealdpwr, they conflict in that you said, in your post of 19:23, "Same team, still controlled by JTP".
Whereas YL, in his post of 19:45, wrote:
Ocelot: "Are you saying that GL is the same as PV?"
No... GL's just a stooge for Tidswell... whereas (despite his faults) Vonk was - at least - his own man!
Postalot
Conflate and distract is the Lucanista way. IMO, the statements do not conflict. Nor are you responsible for answering every single post. Or are you?
PS: it would have been much more difficult for PV to take the same decision as GL about Brockham.
Is it possible JT-P was unhappy about the way things were going at Brockham and wanted another, neutral pair of eyes to assess the prospects of the field?
And the changed factors are the CEO and the board.
The "common factor" in all this Ocelot (as you are well aware) is Toxic Tidswell!
Look no further than him for all the repeated failure to deliver, delay, disaster and double dealing...his sticky fingerprints are all over Angus and always have been - which is why this company has zero trust and zero value in the market.
wldpwr says it IS the same team, you say it's not, YL:
it's left to the reader to make up his/her own mind.
I preferred Vonk... the SP was a whole lot higher for one thing!!!!!!
Ocelot: "Are you saying that GL is the same as PV?"
No... GL's just a stooge for Tidswell... whereas (despite his faults) Vonk was - at least - his own man!
Same team?
Are you saying that GL is the same as PV?
Postalot
Same team, still controlled by JTP.
Indeed, the only person common to the board at the start of the year and now is the NED, Cameron Buchanan.
It's hard to imagine a greater shake-up of the board.
YL,
Neither JT-P nor PV are still on the board.
They're just can kicking, Ocelot... a blind man could see it! When they miss the next deadline and the next... maybe you'll finally see the truth for what it really is?
In the meantime: How many chances do inept managers get in this industry? Seems like Tidswell, Lucan and chums go on making mistakes without consequences. back in the real world... people who repeatedly fail to perform - even basic tasks - are "rightfully" sacked!
... We are pleased to be given the opportunity to provide additional comfort to residents, WSCC and the EA and aim to submit this revised HRA to WSCC before the end of November.
Angus does not anticipate any overall delay to the Planning Application because, as previously advised, determination of the Planning Application is not expected until January 2020...
From last Friday's RNS.
Ocelot,
NO! On the contrary - These errors (deliberate or oversight) are critical to Balcombe's smooth transition through the various planning hurdles.
Given lucan's confident claims in the interview... and the delay being as a consequence of him dotting the i's and crossing the T's... all we can possibly make of this is empty rhetoric and the usual Angus Amateur management!
1) "The EA said Angus Energy had not given any details of a flare to be used during the test. The company may need to apply to vary or add to its environmental permits to do the tests, the EA said.
2) "The regulator was also concerned that Angus Energy had not provided details of a proposed permanent drainage liner that could be installed during the extended well test. The liner would need to be robust enough for three years of heavy vehicle movements, the EA said."
3) "The EA said the new application was for a longer and bigger operation than previous proposals. A new or updated HRA was needed."
Such mistakes will take time and money to put right. Replacing the old, inadequate and damaged former ground liner and fitting a new one - for instance - is not a cheap nor simple fix.
These are basic errors for a company "supposedly" expert in oil exploration. Lucan should hang his head on Tidswell's shoulder in shame!
Aren’t you guys running ahead of your selves by talking about delisting?
The SP is where it is right now because sentiment is killed due to Brockham and apparent issues with the Balcombe application. When they achieve some positive results sentiment will return and so will volume. Balcombe approval and start of test can change things, so will OGA approval for Saltfleetby.
Talk of delisting is unfounded.
But none of those 3 errors (or omissions) appear to be particularly significant.
Aren't you making a mountain out of a molehill?
Not harsh at all Ocelot.
Lucan said in the interview how he brought experience to the table with regard to planning submissions and said how essential it was to be diligent... and yet managed to make THREE errors on the recent Balcombe submission which further impacted the SP! He's supposedly in charge isn't he (even though we all know Tidswell is really) so he should carry the can for this?
Do find you a little bit harsh in your judgement, YL - GL inherited almost all of ANGS's assets from his predecessor, Saltfleetby is the only asset that can be attributed directly to him (and that is a work in progress).
Be interesting to see how they answer the "de-listing" question and if their response leaves "ANY" wriggle room!
The way I see it is this:
As a consequence of the +90% drop in SP value since Lucan took the helm, either:
1) He is an amateur (appointed by Tidswell - yet another amateur) who is not fit to run any company.
or
2) He has plotted with Tidswell on taking ANGS private from day one of his tenure & the SP crash was deliberate.
So which is it... because I cannot for the life of me see any other reason why the SP is this low right now. It wouldn't be this low if the company had been managed properly, met their own deadlines and undertaken due diligence on their operational activities and planning submissions...
so either we have an incompetent management or a duplicitous one...
Which is it?
