says hold at least. http://www.*************.com/views/19116/amara-mining-merger-with-perseus
yup, out at a 62% rise. very nice, expected it to go further and disspointed that it has sold early but you cant be upset with that % increase. don't want to own foreign shares.
Also sold, getting too complex if no guarantee of lse listing, 30% profit and happy with that. Good luck all you other holders, hope it gets where you want.
Check your sums. AUD0.40 x 0.512 $/£ x 0.68 PRU/AMA = 13.9p per AMA share just for the shares. Not even shares are factored in.
We've now moved to a clear premium on the Perseus SP (exc warrants). Does this mean the market is starting to believe there could be a counter offer. Exciting times here.
Market obviously likes the deal. Topped up enough for 10,000 warrants.
A counter bid is not out of the question. I'm happy with the Perseus deal but if an Endeavour Mining or a Nevsun Resources rock up I won't be complaining either. So still potential upside here, possibly. Meanwhile I have approx 60% profit locked in.
Where was this paper from ,no RNS today ,is it on the website .
Just sold mine. Don't deal enough to get involved with warrants and different countries stock exchanges.... made 30% profit here since Friday and that's not a bad effort. Good Luck all. The Aussie share price will probably go up another 40% tonight lol or a counter big will come at 25p cash... but hey profit is profit
and looking solid.
http://www.amaramining.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Warrant-Valuation-by-Arlington-Group-Asset-Management-Limited.pdf Is there anymore updates on the site. I can't open on my mobile
another RNS midday with a bit more information on the deal..... didn't they say they will post to website at midday?
If we're tracking the Perseus SP now we should open up .75p
13p today......
I had a look on the Perseus release last night. If they don't admit to the LSE, they are already traded on a German Exchange for broker trading, which allows the Perseus shares to be included in an ISA wrapper. However it categorically states that the warrants can't be included in an ISA, so what on earth happens with these, I have no idea?
PRU 0.40 AUD +0.03 +8.11% Bodes well for AMA today.
You're welcome. Thought everyone else was asleep. :)
I agree about the warrants Notperfect as they would offer tremendous leverage to a rising gold price. Need clarification on mechanics of deal from broker first. Gold nearly back to $1250. :D
Thanks Phoebus
TD allows you to trade ASX and many other international markets direct from the UK, even inside an ISA wrapper if you wish. Used them for Canadian shares a few years ago. http://www.tddirectinvesting.co.uk/investment-choices/us-international-trading/
The market seems to have ignored the warrants element of the deal. If gold has really turned the corner and Perseus does get its act in gear, these could be a real bonus.
Agreed. Might also cause problems without a UK listing for ISA shareholders. No doubt it will become clearer soon. Perseus itself looks like an interesting recovery play if it can improve its existing producing mine and so help fund Yaoure. Yaoure is going to make good profit for someone. It doesn't look like that will be Amara now but it could be Perseus. Of course if gold continues to recover then I wonder if Perseus with Yaoure will be taken over in turn.
Re Listings. My interpretation of RNS was that they will seek a LSE listing. Maybe I am jumping the gun. If no UK listing many will be in trouble as most UK brokers, in particular on-line do not deal in ASX and TSX shares, Could be very problematic for me. We need clarification.
said yes to the deal..... how many do they need?
