The AMA RNS says "...the Perseus Board will examine the merits of obtaining a standard listing of its ordinary shares on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority to complement its existing share listings on the ASX and the TSX." That feels quite a bit short of WILL list on the LSE market. Have you seen something more definitive, redbeast?
Agreed.... Silly question :)
lets see what happens
whats the point in warrants if you cant sell them?
Yes, 0.34 warrants for each AMA share held. So if you have 100,000 AMA shares you will receive 68,000 PRU shares plus 3400 warrants ( options) to buy more shares at about 20% above closing price on conclusion of deal within 36 months, .You cannot sell warrants as they will not be listed but are transferable to your loved ones if this helps tax problems! My understanding is that AMA will be delisted from AIM and PRU will join the LSE market so no problem except prices in AX overnight when we are sleeping will effect prices when we can buy on LSE next morning!
then to get shareholder approval they are going to have to offer more than 0.68 of a share in Perseus if the Perseus share decreases due to dilution..... otherwise shareholders are not going to go with it..... what if the Perseus share price decreases another 25% today for example..... the offer price for AMA would be lower than the price on Friday!!!
list on LSE..........
Will we be entitled to the warrants even if we are UK based?
The reason sp has stalled is because PRU.AX price on AX has fallen because of dilution. May fall further tonight Lower the AX price lower our offer price. Offer price now equivalent to 12.5 p (excluding future warrant purchases).
hopefully this will push on tomorrow towards 13p.
There's been some substantial order filling hence the static trades.
but mm's keeping price down.......
All this blue ,and price does'r change ??
Investment thesis I think this is a match made in heaven, and as I'm a shareholder of both Perseus Mining and Amara Mining, I intend to fully support this deal. At least, for the time being. Should Endeavour Mining or Nevsun Resources decide to make a counter offer, I would probably side with one of those two. But if nobody outbids Perseus, I'm looking forward to be a part of the enlarged Perseus Mining which could be producing in excess of half a million ounces of gold before the end of this decade.
Explain the deal including options/warrants in layman's please

If Perseus trade on asx I assume our converted shares will only be available to trade there. Can we trade on asx from the UK?
over 12p?
Afternoon all, I’ve spoken to Katharine at Amara about the lack of info about the takeover on Amara’s website and she says that unfortunately they are prohibited by the UK Takeover Panel from publishing information on the website at this time. By midday tomorrow there will be a special ‘mini site’ within the website where the information will be available, but they are not allowed to publish it anywhere else until then. She apologises for the inconvenience and is available by email ir@amaramining.com Thanks
My assumption is that a lot of people are just taking profits and deciding to get out but this is balanced by willing buyers who want to get in for the Perseus deal. So a bit of a stalemate atm but I would've thought this will gravitate slowly towards the value of the takeout which is a bit north of 12.5p, esp if you include the warrants (which you should)
You only hedge when you are producing!
Will know the reason to hedge ,and when to get out ,..
I'm not calling you a deramper but you were the one who entitled your first post this morning with 'Beware'. Is that balanced? Some people would interpret that as a warning, which is ridiculous. I think we've already agreed hedging is prudent so people are entitled to challenge you on the point you are trying to make. I could equally suggest that your post displayed a possible veiled degree of sour grapes that you haven't enjoyed the benefit of this mornings announcement (which you will, of course, deny) ;)
