It was actually dnwll NAV calculation that prompted my decision to sell. Share price 35 and NAV 63. Less a bit probably. So I could choose to wait a couple of years and possibly see a 60% return or jump and try elsewhere. Had the NAV been higher i might have done differently. I have only been in it 9 months so after my special dividend I made 300quid on 20k. I realize I am one of the lucky ones as I bought after woodford. I wish you all good luck here and hope I am wrong and you all get 60% from here quickly
£1.5K drop from yesterday in my holding. What’s not to love. Knew I should’ve sold when I hit even.
Snaffle
I was hopeful that the upward trend we’d seen over the last month would continue but I didn’t have high expectations
Like you say this isn’t a revenue generating company
But I was hoping that the market would view the cost savings as a positive but never mind!
I’d have sold if I’d broken even today given my low confidence in the BOD
Spin and FW are where it’s at for me
Totally agree with Snaffle. Not much ALM can do to influence the value of the underlying assets. Nor can they 'create'news. Today's RNS is pretty much as expected. Thanks also to dnwill for crunching the numbers.
I’d be interested to know from those that are being negative, what you were expecting today in the results? I don’t think I'm surprised or particularly disappointed, neither was I expecting a rally.
If its just the market / price (re)action then that was completely predictable. Happens daily across the market. Its been said many times on here before, this company isn’t in the business of churning big annual revenues, its all about NAV and you’re investing in a future liquidation of a particular asset. Plenty other companies out there if you want to trade in and out over a month or two, this one is a steady riser (allowing for global market collapses etc)
Nice work on the NAV dnwill
bought gfrd and dddd withnthe proceeds....both look better prospects.....bye all
Quite right. Fkn scam of a company
sold...cant be ar sed waiting for them to monetize....
I think we can safely say this is a sh/t share
Results never fail to disappoint, still if you believe in the sum of parts, still a buy, after all it’s mainly spin (pun intended)
