Brighterlater, these revenues are half yearly, I was not clear and did not make it clear when I posted earlier.
So total revenue for 2020 was actually £83,000, so there has to be hope 2021 will exceed that, by double £7000 or more I guess!
Revenue over the years have been not that spectacular, from £4,000 in 2014 to highest in 2017 at £97,000.
Interestingly sales dropped both 18 and 19 though came back a bit 2020 but still not previous high.
The company also gets other income from finance, and I guess maybe grants etc, this has often more than doubled the actual revenue but is still not enough to offset big losses.
I find it hard to see where this is all going, sleep well.
Might not be a solid argument but it is one I like. Not from NE myself but always look for something in my investments that I can relate to.
It has been disastrous over the year with the likes of Woolies, but also had huge returns with the likes of AMD.
I am interested in your use of graphene detailing spray, what you might have found that makes irt special against non graphene products, I know about rust prevention is that something it clearly does and is it tangible?
And I don't think we need to worry too much about environment at this level of sales, though it is an interesting point, which you would hope is already b?een looked at
As per the link I posted earlier, several of those millions are sitting in the bank to fund further product development. A very comfortable position. The company are very positive about increasing revenue. It looks a reasonably safe long term investment to me, but obviously everyone's reasons for investing (or not) differ. For me personally it's a company in the North East and I'm happy to invest on that basis alone - I used to work at ICI Wilton Works where the company is based. Not a solid argument for investing I know!
So, last year we did £35,000. And this year we've smashed it my £7,000. Wow. Looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer for my average 249p to come in to view. This was a company with so much potential, shame they p***ed it up the wall. So, back to sleep for another year or two I reckon.
PS It's graphene - not "graphine"!
I've been using the detail spray for a while, no adverse effects on me, if that helps. It's just carbon. As a result of a childhood accident I have the tip of a pencil embedded in my arm, It's visible just under the skin and it's been there for over 55 years and my arm still works. Anecdotal evidence obviously, but we are "carbon based units" so honestly, how could it be a risk?
No Phil it's annoying, but thanks for trying to convince me otherwise!
I know it's a start up, but we are not talking profit we are talking revenue, that's sales isn't it.
10 years in business, is it still a startup and then to sell £42,000, and a several millions taken as investments.
It is a startup company, hence it's listing on AIM. Many AIM companies make regular losses, so any positive revenue is a good thing. With many potential revenue streams opening up you are invested in a company that could see significant growth. Exciting isn't it?
The revenue at £42000 is just crazy! This company has had millions in financing and only managed revenue of a few hundred thousand in best part of 10 years. I have a £1000 tied up in tis and wish I didn't. I hang on in hope you all are right in your optimism, but I am not confident. In last 2 years £77,000 total revenues is that for real?
My wife's revenue is more, I have invested heavily in her shopping though!
Both are allotropes of carbon. Check out how to make graphene - hint, you can do it with a PENCIL and sticky tape. A bit less of the condescending attitude from now on?
Phil Graphite and Graphine are not the same thing, thanks for taking part though lol. There is no hard and reliable evidence that I can see as to Graphene being safe for the environment and the human body, hence my question. Maybe sensible answers from now on?
If that were genuinely an ecological issue I fear for the future of pencils.

Funded well into 2023. Nice.
Positive RNS. Glad I bought in at 39 don't think we'll see that level again
Morning all, here's a video presentation for this morning's results:

Maybe a buy out?
Fingers crossed results update on revenues tomorrow gains some interest. Water based coating this year should bring in new revenue streams.
Regarding the RNS of appointing a joint broker anyone else concur that is normally in anticipation of a large transaction? From what I see there is money in the bank so would be surprised if a primary bid was in the stalls, so any opinions much appreciated. Steadydanny
Hi guys. Bit off topic I know. AGM is obviously developing a number of products with graphene, including I noticed a type of car wax. Now what are the ecological issues of graphene potentially entering the environment, being gradually washed off the car body work etc. Are we facing an ecological issue similar to micro plastics in water? Or am I completely wrong? P.S. I am invested here and in no way a de ramper
Interesting article on coatings and AGM capabilities

I looked at these shares when they were at 10p last year and after DD I was sceptical given the set up and after looking at the unit they work from which is a mere 10 mile from me.
I bought a few with my son who pointed the company to me as he works in electrical engineering and although advised graphene applications are the future I was still reluctant to invest significantly given no real asset base.
Since then Ive invested regularly and see the rates increase to circa 63p which I take it it was from the deal in Turkey. Beside the above and given the product is capable of a large number of applications and one in particular enhancing car batteries I feel that now the rates are circa 30p its time to lodge larger funds at this company as I can see this companies knowledge / intellectual property being snatched up by one of the large car battery companies in the future.
30p ish is cheap and worth more attention.
Banxy85.......I totally agree, this is one small tech company with a very strong future. Many of these smaller fly under the radar for their formative years before news leaks out into the wider world of their obvious potential.
Not often I post a buy recommendation but for here it's a buy.
Positive RNS, and feels like we've hit the bottom. Still time to get in around the same price as the placing. This is a strong buy for me
Feels like we’re through the consolidation and we could see this rise from here.
Averaged in now a few percent below the Jan 21 placing unbelievable can't wait for interim results in 10 days
My trade of buy 10000 shares in Applied Graphite reported as a sell at 36.20 at 12.22
