A 2.25 million buy and a 2 million buy within 40 minutes of each other. Very large by AFE's standards of recent months. I don't believe anyone would buy into this company at these levels if they didn't think (probably with good reason) that something significant could be happening in the near future.
buy right there 2.1m shares this company seemed dead and buried few months back. kola karim said your not dying yet buddy!!!
can't wait for next rns!! needed someone with a bit of money and a good financial brain. Looks like KK is going to make this one a bit like the Phoenix!
nicely on lowish vols.gla
Gone blue..major gains coming here. GLA
expect some big news with funds in the bank.. shoreline and kola aren't here for small gains. http://www.forbes.com/pictures/fjdd45hfi/kola-karim-nigeria-group-managing-director-and-chief-executive-officer-of-shoreline-energy-international/
Ducks lining up. will be a multibagger from these levels. Dutwa will be funded imo worth 2p+ nickel prices on the up. plus any other niceties from Kola's and shorelines Nigerian Oil contacts.
African Eagle (AIM: AFE; AltX: AEA) announces that it has today entered into an unsecured loan facility ("Facility") of up to a total of £365,000 with CEO of the Company, Nick Clarke, and Chairman of the Company, Kola Karim ("Facility Agreement"). The terms of the Facility Agreement include that it is available for draw down until 30 November 2015, accrues interest at the rate of 5 per cent. per annum from day to day and is calculated for any period on the basis of the actual number of days elapsed and a 365 day year. The Facility and accrued interest is repayable on the earlier of 31 December 2015 or the completion of a successful fundraising that forecasts, at the time of such fundraising, that African Eagle shall have sufficient working capital to operate until 31 December 2015 after full repayment of all sums due under the Facility Agreement. The Facility will be used by African Eagle for general working capital purposes.
That is pretty soon. Only two weeks away.
Doubt there will be any now till July 1st after AGM on 30th June
There must be news coming soon. NC and KK would not have bought in and Coburg would not have up their stake if there was nothing planned and the company was just going to carry on drifting. Also, the increased buying activity in recent weeks has been encouraging.
Nice to here from you again hope the business in still going strong in these times of internet buying. Totally new bod now just come into being a big gun from a Nigerian conglomerate is on the board .l We are waiting to see what he is bringing to the company. I had virtually written off my stake since consolidation decimated my holding . However gambled on a recovery and bought while at a very deep low which made my new avge a possibility of some recovery of capital input at least. check latest rns for update- regards
I was in here a couple of years ago, but may choose to come back shortly when the spread is less. I was always hearing about Dutwa as the Biggy for AFE. Is this still on and how long approx will it be before this gets a move on? A bit "How long is a piece of string", but looking at various notes about AFE, it looks to me that this could take a very long time before Dutwa is going to come of age due to "messing around' getting itself into gear. I very rarely write here, but maybe someone could put this in a Nutshell for me. At present, I have enough for a fair old punt, but not to throw away. I did OK a couple of years or so ago and haven't been back since! Thanks. Photo.
After 10:1 consolidation June 2013 this left me at a price of 58 and considered this share a write off! Jun 2014 gambled on a slim recovery so bought and avge now.79. Life in this old dog of a share yet LOL 1.5 +would suit me fine
Multibagger coming to an AIM party soon.. see what Kola and Shoreline are bringing to the party. Big hitters: http://www.shoreline-group.com/ http://www.forbes.com/pictures/fjdd45hfi/kola-karim-nigeria-group-managing-director-and-chief-executive-officer-of-shoreline-energy-international/
is not going south as a mid term play in my view-2p is where I will look to recover many years of pain
Wonder what's causing the rise ?
Moving up big buys going in . see this being a multibagger from these levels with shoreline on board. dutwa wll be financed now, nickel prices going up fast, easily worth 2p+ on that resource. more interested in what kola karim and his Nigeria oil connections will bring here. GLA.
good start.
Nice to see some decent buying. Hopefully a good RNS to follow soon.
If I knew for certain then I would be buying-it was a comment made to me by some one who had quite a few shares in the company but is now out-he also knew the old management team.
All gone very quiet this week. Any thoughts what the future holds anyone??
as sells. alot of buying going on again is mr kola karim building his stake up?
That is incredibly vague. An asset could be anything. More details?
we about to see a new asset reversed into the company-that has been the rumour for a while now
