Cheers Jordan- will check now
unable to copy and paste but if you check the rns from 22nd july 2013 it states what I just said previous
hey buddy reading from a previous rns I remember reading it stating something along the lines of the shares being suspended 12 months from that date if a rto was not achieved il try and find it if possible
Hi Jordan - I've a small holding here - What's a suspension deadline ? how will this effect us? Cheers
is that this week coming?
when is the deadline for afe?
Held here since 2009 and now avge .790 ( Having done my maths I have a better chance of selling out and increasing my holding in BMR. A modest rise here will at the least give me a break even and a fair chance of a decent profit) I have the thought that it could be a long time to reach my avge if I stay here ) so GLA you holders
Oh Thanks, I had conveniently forgotten the lying Toe Rags at ANGM .This is why its called "Shocks and Stares "
A--greed( ha ha) Shorting in general on the AIM doesn't do PI''s much good either makes the spikes that push Sp up/down, some Pi's loose heart and pull out.Got to remember when you punt in the AIM you are definitely taking a gamble. I only invest what I think I can afford to loose. Have lost some( ANGM ) got out of ACU in time with a win have gained some, but all mining is rock bottom at present , little money from big investigators.
The "Duff " board members would still get their salaries / fees . We do not make one jot or iota of difference, and they bloody well know it. There is a very worrying scenario developing, see Matra and Gas, where the shares are being de-listed with zero compensation for the P I's. I am far from happy with this situation. If we all pulled out then we would lose the value of our investment as the price would collapse.
|According to a very lengthy report by the LSE PI's are very important to AIM as investors as they assist in its liquid fluidity. Therefore without such as us it would stagnate. So if we all went on strike and pulled out where would all the duff board members be for their wageLOL
AGM this morning. Let's hope for some positive news.
Cheers Sercher appreciate your reply! I've seen your name over the last 3 odd years so know your genuine when it comes to the eagle. Really wish I never got my eagle tattoo 3 years ago...back into the foetal position again now until news (good news)!
I think there will be silence until the next rns. Depends what ideas KK has to offer. He has not spoken as yet of his interest in this lame duck. However he has not got to where he is at by rash moves. Whether the PI's will benefit is the question at this time. Sorry old chum still a waiting game for us .
not ? lol
today ?
Im not one to post normally, but that 40k is most of what I have invested in the Eagle from 3 years ago, so I am obviously massively down on my investment. I'm kind of hoping something is going to work out now we've had this board shuffle and loan, but probably more desperate for it to happen. My real brain ache is (I may be wrong) but why would this Nick Clarke join the African Eagle board and also own Blackdown who now own 90% of Dutwa? Is Blackdown going to swallow up African Eagle in some way for peanuts so we totally lose everything and increase their % of Dutwa? Or is something genuinely brewing, so I can at least see some light at the end of the tunnel? Cheers, really appreciate any feedback on this.
I have been here a couple of years, we had 40k in bank TOTAL. So eventually we are going under. very sad as we were at 16p 3 years ago
ok matey no probs thanks for taking the time to respond! atvb with everything & good luck fella bn.c
sorry but have no additional info.here to add.I said it was less likely some individual progress was made vs. the market which is increasingly hard against the trend for any small miner.Far better to ride on a wave of sector surges. So you'd be better again tracking the GDXJ,the HUI and other indexes to see if/when any general trend is happening, and the GDXJ is up bigtime the last few weeks, unfortunately so far AFE isn't following suit.Of course even stuck stones get cast higher up the beach in big waves..
Hi mogo, thanks for ur response. my query is this mate......... ref junior miners & large prospects successes v not currently involved in another (SOLG) which are making noises of going it alone & my concern is that that's a) unlikely & b) quite possibly a huge mistake i recall AFE's exploration & move to develop the large Dutwa project but effectively ran out of funding for the project in a nutshell my concern where i'm involved is if the appetite/interest is not there then the same thing is likely to happen.... the good thing ref the prospect is there's good lengths & grades being returned from the drill programme the downside is the core's very deep so it's really a question of what in your experience are the warning signs to be watching out for in your opinion from experience...... many thanks in advance matey.... ps - no longer a novice & no not broke - the name'S with a hint of irony - bit like "IHaveNoClue" atvb bn.c
Likewise. You are a very patient man with AFE. Surely not too long before it works for you and all here. You must have been here years now? I did think of coming back, but it's too long term for me. I went into ASTA, so whether or not we are all going to be Hoodwinked about how great Mexico will be, is anyone's guess. The guys running ASTA are pro's, so I hope they are professional at getting results for their Shareholders, or professional in spinning us a very good yarn for their own benefit. Not much point in doing that, though. They want to be involved with the Top Ten Producers out there, so they need to play the game straight and it may pay off. Only time will tell that we aren't buying a Pig in a Poke. Cheers! Photo.
Don't think youre a novice and hope youre not broke. You asked about smaller miners, and AFE.Really I've said AFE's best years were in 2009/10 when we were almost in the money, which shows picking the best share is not as important as timing.AFE could either rise against the general trend by some coup via the backers but that is less likely.A general trend is far better in the sector. Can that come ? Look for example at the GDXJ the junior goldminers index. And nickel rising too.A small recovery so far.GL
Back to sleep everyone till next RNS
theres been quite a bit of buying lately. well written RNS today, clean slate. I think dutwa is back on the cards and with nickel prices on the up. a couple of other assets there as well will do very well. see what shoreline brings here is of more interest.
