Loyalty?
I'd be happy if they would show us anything other than utter contempt. They seem to have forgotten their duty of care to us, the owners of the company.
I think Bond is on borrowed time unless he delivers something substantial before the end of Q4. Wherever he ends up I will ensure his AFC track record is not forgotten be it, in the fullness of time, fabulous or the car crash it is now.
The manipulation of this share is nothing short of criminal. The AFC BOD should show some loyalty to us long term shareholders who have funded this company at much higher prices, and at the very least notify us that they aren't aware of any reason why the SP sinking as fast as my faith in a return any time soon. And if John Rennocks investment vehicle turns out to be funding the next placing then alarm bells should be sounded. I'm also emailing AFC.
I also found this. Can anyone recall his statement on when he does or doesnt buy shares.
Director Deals - Utilico Emerging Markets Ltd (UEM)
2 October 2018 | 10:30am
StockMarketWire.com - John Rennocks, Chairman, bought 3,116 shares in the company on the 2nd October 2018 at a price of 196.00p. The Director now holds 132,131 shares.
I have just been looking into John Rennocks and picked up the following which athough back in 1996 during his time as FD of Powergen is interesting:
One source said yesterday: "He has had a Midas touch. He has done some pretty shrewd things and driven the company in the right direction. Part of the glitter of PowerGen is down to the fact that he has done a good job."
I also looked into Blufield Solar Income and couldnt see anything that worried me unduly.
That said I would still like an update of some sort.
Funny all the other variants bounced but these didn’t. Will report back if I get a response.
Hi Chipp I tried that but it bounced so I used the “contacts “ page on the afc website
My contact via the company site was ignored. Will write to nomad if no joy with today’s e mails to a dot bond at afc energy dot com and same format to rennocks which weren’t bounced back.
Southerhay: Can you please confirm exactly what email address you used - did you do as suggested by whatifindsikeeps, i.e. first initial plus surname (no fullstop) @afcenergy.com?
My email to JR was bounced so I emailed via the AFC Energy website - I've emailed Wendy previously but have no idea whether the address is correct or monitored so have gone via the company website - suggest everyone does the same ?
Yet another day with an sp drop nearly 10%.
Whenever someone posts comments in any negative fashion they get bashed by some (not all) as to their motives, well I have a question.............I have been reading recently that companies that supply/produce hydrogen are now looking to get more for the use in hydrogen cells producing direct power to motor vehicles than simply to produce electricity to other source users as well as via the national grid.
When it was discussed a couple of years ago regarding AFC and vehicle fuel cells, I like most thought that the way to go was not down this road as others were looking at these systems and that AFC should concentrate on their static fuel cell stack system.
I have read that the hydrogen powered car is looking to be more popular and cheaper per mile than a none hydrogen power unit, so my question now is this, if the price of hydrogen increases due to demand because of the hydrogen car growing in popularity, where does that leave AFC re cost production to sale.
Just sent mine to JR also
Try first initial plus surname (no fullstop) @afcenergy.com
I've just tried j.rennocks and it hasn't come back yet!
That e mail doesn’t work for j r
Totally agree and I too have written off this share. Also lost loads on it as it constant dives in value. Also made the same mistake with ITM and that has proved another basket case!
Just sent mine to JR
Long term shareholders are so far down there's really not much point in selling. I've lost thousands and to be honest I expect to loose the lot. Certainly won't be averaging down anymore but hoping for a miracle. Good luck everyone.
I have also sent an email suggesting that they have a duty to advise the market, either that they are not aware of any reason (et.c etc.) or if there is some reason, to tell us what it is.
Hi Desert I also said it looked like blatant manipulation.
I must say I am starting to wonder about UEM which you highlighted the other day.
Agree Desert, I emailed John Rennocks via Wendy about an hour ago saying that AFC should issue an RNS with regard to the share price.
What the f*** is going on here?
It certainly is.
And still AFC make no comment.
I used to think these would contribute considerably to my retirement fund. I have now all but written them off I'm afraid and if I'm wrong to do that it will be a pleasant surprise. I am simply no longer of the view that the management has the desire or ability to progress this. Nor does it seem to care.
Taking another mashing today....
