I quite agree....the January introduction to the EV charger was not exactly an Oscar winning production ....but it was a" toe in the water " opening gambit.....and has led to a world leader in Rolec to try and bring this unique system to the market place....as we have discussed before TUVA and their past performances are subjective ...
Well lets hope the guesswork will soon come to an end ....the imminent interim report needs to bring a breath of fresh air to this forum.....the constant battering of TUVA is unjust .....they simply have nothing to play with ....no signs of the fuel cell gen sets and a wait until Q4 when the EV charger is unleashed...how do you PR that ? on the AFC budget of £0000.
I would guess that they want to release this with a big bang. Something has held up the finished product and they are waiting for that to be resolved. then the PR party starts. No point in releasing your rockets ahead of the party.
So, if this is correct, was it intended to be released with the annual report, only for a delay to make that impossible, or was it always intended to be a stand along report later this year?
From the few images that we could see all appeared hunky dory ....what could have been so wrong with making it public knowledge ?....seems like we have a R&D department for our PR work.
Thanks notes ..... So as we already know any promotional/ PR work is totally controlled by the AFC BODs.
Who lost their job the person who produced it or the person who withdrew it ?
No, I thought it was another company. I was told by Wendy the person responsible lost their job.
If you cast your minds back to pre -AGM.....around mid-march....DW found the secret AFC dossier " This is what we do " and it then suddenly got withdrawn....would TUVA have been responsible for producing that tome ?
To be blunt, AFC have been choosing the best partners for commercialisation, Denora, Advanced Plastics etc, etc. P. R. Is very expensive, possibly more than AB's salary for a would be mega company, hence I think Tuva is a mere economical stop gap until AFC get some income.. In my opinion, Sorry Tuva.
I’ve been banging the Tuva drum for ages. The whole thing stinks. Of all the talented agencies out there, we’re stuck with this strange bunch.
Good bit of research, wifik.
I agree doc.
Silures, lol. At the AGM Bond was getting a lot of flak, and he made the comment that AFC under his leadership had made £4 million from the Lanstead deal, an unusually positive result.
That was done on the basis of a tight set of targets that were almost entirely met, in year one, and very good spin, the use of Proactive Investors and the Newsletters.
Another piece of information that suggests Rennocks is not fit for his role.
The two guys at TUVA were previously at Axicom,
who managed PR for Intelligent Energy while Rennocks was Chairman there.
Given the obviously startup nature of TUVA it looks more like jobs for the boys rather than an outfit that won AFC’s business through a logical tender process...
I'm now extremely concerned..BumbleB is posting cynical comments!!
LOL
An excellent point well made BumbleB
Evening doc7. I note the that the Tuva website states” Tuva have some of the most talented and experienced story tellers in the business” . Trouble is we have some very talented story tellers on the BoD.
I wonder how much AFC is paying them - with our money!
Does anyone know anything about TUVA. I emailed them ten days ago and got no reply. Their website has precisely zero info....they are a PR company for goodness sake!!
They seem to have made a grand total of 26 tweets and to have 36 followers. And they seem only to tweet about one other company.
Is this a legitimate PR company as the activity does not seem compatible. What on earth do the employees do all day??
As an AFC shareholder I am very concerned that this outfit has been deemed suitable by the AFC board. Why?
