Is there any hope for this company to recover.
My heart goes out to the people who are taking acta to court as they maybe do not realise that we are and have been in deep recession and values in stocks in aim in my opinion have fallen vastly, I often wonder why director that's just left did not sell his shares at maybe over 10 million pounds. Time moves on and to me I feel I have lost but maybe just maybe if the people get together we can all make acta a tidy sum, good luck to all which ever way this goes
Thanks for the replies. That's sickening but I knew this one was a speculative gamble. The writing was on the wall for over a year as they failed to get any significant orders from trials. I definitely need gdl to come good now!
In theory ArdR, the company's assets and IP will get sold and the money will be used to pay the following; administrators costs / fee, staff wages, tax bill, then any debt / supplier liabilities etc. Lastly comes shareholders. So, there is a chance that if there is any money left it would be divided up amongst the shareholders. I predict we will get precisely 0p per share. Even if there was a billion in the bank, it would mysteriously disappear. And yes, no doubt the management will buy the assets and IP for the fair price of 1 Euro. I've been through this before, 1 week later the company is trading again and post stellar profit in their first year, etc.
ArdR sorry to say but as it currently stands you have lost all your money invested here. You are unable to trade these shares now and any value if any will go back to the company. Sorry for your loss.
Prob a silly question but is that it for shareholders? All money lost?? I'm a novice investor and have held shares in here for over a year now.. More in hope that it wud turn a corner than realism. I presume that I can't sell my shares once trading is suspended. If liquidated will shareholders be guaranteed the current sp value or just watever is left if any?
Thanks ALW like I said I am complete novice done as much research as i could, took note of what was said on BB here and elsewhere just think that this company has been sadly and badly let down by management issues , doubt if any of us will see any monies back, disappointing but it is what it is, doesnt help that this year the sentiment has been doom and gloom across a lot of stock hopefully next year will be better as to CYAN the management team appears to be so much better and are gearing up for some interesting news in the near future ,ACTA will, I believe go private again and will do well at some point as the potential is huge unfortunately we will be left out of the success GL
The answer is possibly.....just not for the current holders. If they can raise equity they an keep going to hopefully realise orders - but the dilution will completely destroy the investment of anyone still here. Yes we still have the Heliocentris Contract, but without a significant order arriving in the next month or so the cash will be completely gone. They have....(or should I say had?) great tech but simply couldn't transform it into orders. Holding out on negotiations that clearly were going no-where was simply foolish. I shall continue to watch to see if they can make a last minute comeback, but odds are against it 99:1 in my opinion.
Hey guys, bad day here. I suppose the writing was on the wall really, but there was so much promise. Alfa, there is definitely value there, but you know as well as I do that the value won't go to holders. It never, ever does. On to the next one folks! Best of luck.
No, all I hope for is that the genuines, Lindoser et al, managed to get some money out. So much promise, but, so it would seem, some risky deals done behind the scenes. The IP should have some value surely?
I believe ACTA have good products but they can't find a way to sell 'em in bulk. Very sorry for all holders. Sad day indeed but perhaps some small hope that they can get a decent price for the company/patents etc.
Morming, look out Alf will be after you! Lol
I suspect your right gutted ,I took a small punt on this as it looked so right with mass potential and like you complete greenhorn ,this AIM lark has been eye opener for me down on alll my shares near 50% but said I could afford to lose £5000 without too much worry but it p!!!es me off to see it go through manipulation ,not saying thats what happened here just bad management hopefully CYAN and couple of others come good in the new year
Have money tied up in here, suspect I won't ever see it again
What a waste - and what about those trades yesterday - RIP
Going......going ......?
Minimum commitment of 500 units in the third year (February 2015 onwards) http://www.investegate.co.uk/acta-s-p-a---acta-/rns/agreement-with-heliocentris/201202280700302285Y/
Dont we have a commitment for large orders from Helicentris commencing in January?
No idea, possibly a madman trying to get his horrible average down! I wonder if 2015 will be the year of Acta. Because it turns out we were wrong about 2014, and 2013, and 2012... etc
Any thoughts on the relatively large trades?
"Only cash outflow causing the market capitalisation to fall. " --------- and CEO 'outflow' ?
and great distribution system but at the moment no orders so no cash inflow. Only cash outflow causing the market capitalisation to fall. I was in Acta back in 2011, but was out after few weeks. Great potential and is under my radar now. I also believe ACTA should get in touch with PHE as there technologies are very similar. i am talking about energy only here
