Apologies for the multiple posts. Think the site has some issues with updates.
All of the above I'm afraid CD.
There was a dispatches style article in the Guardian a couple of weeks back. Azerbaijan very much want the fight and will probably win. People there have been whipped up into a hysteria by propaganda and misinfortamation to the point where Armenians have been dehumaised and even strong critics of the government are in full support of the action. Any ceasefire will be seen on that side as simply a chance to regroup for the next assualt right up until all the occupied territories and Karabakh are taken. It doesn't help that they are being egged on by Turkey who are engaged in a region wide proxy war with Russia.
There is similar disinformation on the Armenian side but they will likely lose and so might be keener to stick to a ceasefire.
Anything arranged by Russia is seen as a joke as they created the situation around 100 years go, have constantly meddled in the region since and sell arms to both sides.
US backing the latest ceasefire might have given it slightly more credibility but to be honest both Putin and Erdogan hold the US in complete contempt so maybe not.
It sounds like a very complicated situation.
