Hi MO
Have to say looking at my portfolio today was a bit of an OMG moment! Glad I didn’t buy anymore ;-)
Reading the motley fool article - that’s quite an attack from Blue Orca ( TBH I hate short sellers, I think it’s morally wrong, but this is just me!)
One way or another someone isnt telling the truth.
Is it not libellous?
Is this the start of some serious messing about?
I post not only good news, industry information but also bad news.
Now before you read or get to pushing the exit button, this attack is often associated with start up companies with new tech.
Yes I have said for 3-4 weeks that Standard Lithium had started its demo plant and there should be good news as the pilot plant had achieved its goals.
Why ship down from Canada a processing unit which has been processing brines from South America if there was any doubt ?
Why would Laxness spend money on buying up options months before they were due ?
Why would Stellantis complete an Mou on news regarding the pilot plant success ? They are a huge global company surely not that daft ?
So Blue Orca who specialise in shorting are now in the money. I wonder if they will be using that profit to buy back in to Standard Lithium at a cheaper price?
Its what they do.
Nikola Corp had. CEO last year who has come unstuck Trevor Minton. Only this week the case against him has blocked his claims to get his case quashed , so there are some bad CEO's out there !
Nikola Corp cut out the dead wood , let new auditors in and with skill and guidance have pushed through a new firm footed company which is about to go in to major production. So cutting out any BS and bad staff can be turned around.
I will wait and see what happens. I was lucky and as I stated too my profits but have kept my free ride.
One thing to note is other companies in the US are banking on brines ie Salton Sea. High grade brines.
ALL DLE processes are based on the filtration it is new tech, a brand new way to produce lithium in 24-36 hours. Companies in S America have to use salt flats , rock miners have extra drilling mining costs and risks so brines ARE a huge threat.
If North Sea oil was no longer would you expect them to let a new tech upstart virtually kill their industry within 2-3 years ?
If schlumberg are looking at brines in the US and Albamerle are looking at it for S America then DLE is not dead. It probably needs tweeking.
DLE is also based on the different types if brines inc impurities. Each well is different, each filter must be different. Again these can be tweeked.
I would be amazed and very angry if the fillings that blue orce are reporting on are not part of the market disclosure laws and things like processing must be released to investors ?
Anyway, make your own minds up on what you do, but never let it be said that I only post positive / rampy info. If I see bad I call it out too.

So very early days for virtually all of these… but with a S P full of hope and future ££
Maybe some additions to my relatively small positions , over next few months will be needed. Profits from BTC miners will need a home ;-)
Tyson, vul & prairie both early stage along with CL British Lith, E3 with SLI nearest production and STILL waiting for the initial demo results. Anything anywhere near a step up = $15-18.00 may even hit 20.00 as the next step is full plant and my guess is quick expansion on Tetra licences buy in and expansion of tech knowledge ie selling the process out across the Arkansas basin ? Demo plant details pretty much confirm DLE works at scale.
With these results so keenly awaited it could push the button on all other brine ops using DLE rerate... E3 - 7m tons lith carb where CL BL & SLI will be around 750,000-1m ton lith carb before any expansion.
With SLI good demo news they will want to be hitting 5m+ tons lith carb to get the really big deals for supply. Tesla for example would use all of SLI + E3 in one go and still need more.
Scale up is key imho. If E3 prove up next year they could even scale up past 10m tons lith carb as they are like SLI a modular chemicals processor so simple add more capacity to store and process the brines / lce. See E3 CEO explaining the process fully in 45 min interview I posted at the start of Nov.
News has to come very soon from SLI.
Both gonna be great…. Can’t bring myself to buy any more SLI at this price!
I
Note E3 have already declared estimates of 7m tons of lithium carbonate v Standard Lithium just over 1m tons lithium carbonate. HOWEVER, Standard Lithium is modular and the CEO has clearly stated expansion across the Arkansas basin. Even mentioning selling on the tech for royalties.
Test it, prove it, scale it up to demand and you have a solid business. Throw speed at it and rush deals leads to a fall. That is not going to happen here.

Another view of the moving parts of a start up growing towards production. E3 are not far behind and with a very similar modular path with very few issues over permits due to oil and gas from tar sands previously.
Both will do well.
Very interesting article MO..
thanks for posting.. I never looked at VUL as ( wrongly). I thought they were well ahead of the game - ie the likes of SLI.
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20211109005948/en/Prairie-Lithium-Makes-Big-Discovery-on-the-First-Lithium-Brine-Well-Ever-Drilled-in-Canada
Put these guys down to watch. They too are brine from scratch. DLE tech same as E3 & SLI. Gives us an idea.
Vulcan update on processing brines.
MODULAR is the word for Standard Lithium, E3 Alberta and stands out here with Vulcan.
I am pretty sure this is the only way Cornish Lithium can go with brines and to scale up. Power access will be a big question BUT solar, wind & hydrogen + storage in remote areas ( hexagon composites eg ) should allow for this.
This could develop quicker than many think !

So far ,
I’m into E3 with a position a bit heavier than I normally do.. I tend to diversify a bit having my £ split over 12-15 stocks and funds. I’m not too brave but saves me losing on a big bet- happened once!
CUSN - pretty much the same situation.
I’ve a bit of liquidity atm and I keep thinking of adding more to E3 when it’s dropping to 2.8-2.9 but keep “passing”.
As you know I’m still bullish on (some cryptos) and apart for today’s little end of day drop , they’re doing well but I’m considering taking the money from some and it’s where it goes….I was thinking 3 dollars was getting a bit high..??
As for CUSN.. I really don’t have a handle on the markets value of it. For “rock” it might be right, for brines it’s probably a 10x IF they do the right thing.. but will they??
Maybe it’s time for a bit of “all in” ;-)
Keep filling that retirement pot!!!!
Another 10% down and its buying time again.
Line up your funds I would think ? ;-)))).
Easy money to be had if it keeps going.
Not putting strong buy as I am happy for it to fall as far as it wants. I'd dream of 8.00, but unlikely. Christ I'd chuck another big wedge in.
Production rates from demo plant overdue now , maybe a few have a worry maybe something has happened ? Who knows but I am pretty sure that Stellantis know their stuff.
Tyson as he said 3 weeks ago in this interview , critical first step news is due in 4-6 weeks. So 1-3 weeks ONLY now. Typical CUSN is due to hear about CL project JORC which is massive news too...1-2 weeks.
Was it jack sprat who had to be nimble and quick ?
I added £10k and split refuced my CUSN by 25% approx to get a good E3 price as it seems to be bouncing between 2.80-3.10 in the last week or so.
With test pilot news due so soon the sp may well rise ahead of it? Today at 16.00 Pacific West Coast Time E3 are presenting at conference. I expect talk only BUT he will be pushing that limited time for investors/funds to buy in prior to lift off. Year highs for E3 US$5.00+ so at US$3.00 there is room.
Full pilot plant to be built Q1 22 so within only 5 months these guys are going from not a lot to a full pilot. How ? They have seen Standard's model and know it works as we have seen over the last 18 months. Its all modular for both and the pilot plant is to use off the shelf already in use parts so nothing to worry about. It is chemical liquid processing NOT mining the dirt which can throw up all sorts of unexpected issues. That is why I think CUSN is also very attractive. The guys there are looking at tin prices copper too, but right under their feet is near £1 Billion under their tin & copper with extraction 1/2rd the cost on CAPEX. Much more margin for all brine operations SLI here , E3 and CL via shares in CUSN.
WITHIN 1-3 weeks both E3 & CUSN will have major news. Happy times. Lets make some good money.
…and thanks for the u tube link for the E3 CEO interview. Interesting and he seems to have a lot of the bases covered.
Wait and maybe build a bigger position…
Saw a press release on this.. paving the way.. good for the state … and business!!
"Bill 82 would provide concrete regulatory certainty to the lithium industry in Alberta. This sends a strong message that the Alberta Government is supportive of environmentally responsible industrial development here in the province. The Alberta Energy Regulator offers a mature regulatory body with a clear and simplified process that highlights environmental best practices. E3 Metals fully supports the AER regulating the lithium industry."
Alberta put lithium brine up front and centre.
Results due within 3-5 weeks.

UK LITHIUM NEWS.
"We will soon publish our maiden resource statement for our Trelavour Hard Rock Project and we remain on track to commission the Direct Lithium Extraction Pilot Plant at our Geothermal Waters Test Facility at United Downs."
20-25p coming over there imho.

Many thanks..
Another rise today form SLI!!

Try this link to twitter lithium chart. Useful to keep as it shows dips, countries in operation, brine, clay rock etc. Very quick and handy. I looked at this during summer and keep a copy to assess each month.
DLE Brines is my focus as they are to be the highest margin producers and as tech improves in the next 5 years using nano it will only get better.
Hi
I did see it.. and then it went lower still…
So tempting to add more! Not quite sure what with though ;-)
I’m hoping for some of the BTC miners to get a move on- they should be sky high atm as BTC broke $60 on last 2 weeks and Is holding - up 30% but most of the companies mining it aren’t up anywhere near.
Hoping some can so I can take some out for CUSN, more E3 and short term ADV..
Added to NEL other day so now have a “happy amount” invested!
ATB
TF
Tyson, did you say you couldnt see E3 sub 3.00 ? Teehee. I posted 2.20-2.40 is my level to top up. Just have to wait.
Might be right , might be wrong but only buy cheap.
E3 will be up and for 12-18 months, so as I said before wait for a buy the lows. It was exactly the same for Standard and look at them now. A case of repeating all over again.
Yes… I think it’s time to let things play out.
Not the best day… for a lot of stocks ( well the ones I have) but no rush…
Standard lithium will now do its thing along with NEL still my biggest holding by a mile. Just a matter of time.
I just added to CUSN today ;-) deffo will do well.
My radar is , like you , edging towards where the value is.
E3 & CUSN imho.
