hey ive just come back after 3 weeks in phetchabun .. no idea re your question . if they re list and have any value then yes why not but you never know with this one .. its along way off yet i fear .. enjoy your holiday
Currently on holiday in Thailand. Could someone be so kind to help me out. Will I be able to sell my existing shares when they resist? Thanks!
SP could be anything if we do re open that is. valuation at present will be zero IMO and all depends on what might be going on in the background... 200m debt written off though
Hi Gambier, You are correct, just read it all again. It is the conversion debt price. Excited to see SP when they relist/trade again and when - could be in March/April or summer ......
I have just read all the share issues/debt restructuring info on the Talvivaara website, previously I had just skimmed. From what I understand, the share issue at 0.114 is merely a number that is being used to convert the debt to equity and so produce the reported number of new shares. When it relists it will be a shell company that has a few million in cash but diluted by many more millions of shares. As such the price of each share will be incredibly low and not anything near 0.114 Euro. Very happy to be corrected on this.
It terms of total shares we are back in business. I can't believe w'll open at EUR .1144 ? Good luck guys and happy new year.
all and lets hope talv returns from the brink . come on pekka
This was my understanding of the Talvivaara company announcements. I could well be wrong.
Yes the mine may be profitable, after quite a big injection of cash from the Finnish Govt through Terrafame, but the old Talvivaara will have no stake in it at all, unless the exchange for shares for debt somehow results in a stake back in Terrafame?
If you read all the news on the Terrafame website it can be distilled down to this: 1) Bioleaching method is working better than expected and that maximum production will be achieved in 2019, with very rapid growth in the next 18 months followed by a slower increase until peak in 2019. 2) water problems have been dealt with and waste discharge is now well below maximum allowed levels 3) The company is innovating so at to sell by-products of the process at very high profit 4) If nickel and zinc prices achieve forecasted numbers the Terrafame becomes 'very profitable' What is unknown is how the market will value Terrafame once it lists on the Finnish market. Once the dilution is established and the market has had a few months to trade the shares we should know. So come February we should have a reasonably clear picture of how the market values the company.
Yes and to you and everyone else here. Indeed we could have got out let's hope our faith is repaid hey
It's been a very long time holding our breath with this one , we could have got out before they delisted but we held hoping they came good , the moment of truth is soon upon us , good luck everybody , and merry Christmas :-)
Talvivaara Mining Company Plc extends the subscription period of the directed conversion issue to expire on 28 December 2016 The subscription period of Talvivaara Mining Company Plc's ("Talvivaara" or the "Company") directed conversion issue (the "Share Issue") commenced on 28 November 2016 at 10:00 a.m. (Finnish time) and was initially set to expire on 22 December 2016 at 4:00 p.m. (Finnish time). Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Share Issue, the Board of Directors of Talvivaara has today decided to extend the subscription period of the Share Issue to expire on 28 December 2016 at 4:00 p.m. (Finnish time). As result of the extension, the new shares issued in the Share Issue are expected to be (i) registered in the trade register maintained by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office on or about 4 January 2017; (ii) issued as book-entry securities in the book-entry system maintained by Euroclear Finland on or about 4 January 2017; and (iii) listed on the official list of the Helsinki Stock Exchange on or about 5 January 2017. The offering circular related to the Share Issue and the terms and conditions of the Share Issue are available on Talvivaara's website at www.talvivaara.com/conversion_issue and at Talvivaara's registered office located at Ahventie 4 B 47, FI-02170 Espoo, Finland. Talvivaara expects to supplement the offering circular reflecting such new dates and the supplement will be made available on the same Talvivaara website and at Talvivaara's registered office.
It is how I read the companies announcement, but as always with these things very often you misunderstand the meaning. Maybe somebody else can confirm?
Thatwill do nicley 42k ounds for. Me lol what was i thinking. Unfortunately i cant see anything worth 0.6 at the moment lo not so loud
Assuming a full uptake by creditors, non-creditor share holders will hold shares worth approx 6 pence from what I understand. What happens to the SP once they become tradable again is anybody's guess. Nickel price is at multiyear lows whereas zinc is at multiyear highs. All will be revealed throughout Jan 2017 I guess.
thanks GEEK. well at least anything we might have will benefit from a better exchange rate !LOL.. GEEK its good for PP to hear from us UK investors too keep those communication lines open mate ...
Chaps, here's the official circular. I've gone blind reading it! Good luck http://www.talvivaara.com/files/talvivaara/Conversion%20Issue%202016/Talvivaara%20-%20Offering%20Circular.pdf
