So the instis get spoon fed the information whilst us guys try to do our own research on limited information, for me that’s the difference between them investing and us gambling.
Should be a legal requirement that ALL information released on a share placing made available to everyone.
I must admit, sometimes I can't get my head around the murky shenanigans that goes on between a company, irs brokers and the insti's.
You would think that if they've shelled out £16mill quid at 17p that they would want to profit on this as much as we do. So why the secrecy. Release the broker notes, tell us what they told you to get you to part with 16mill quid.
We all, insti's and PI's want to make a few Bob, and what better way than to people buying shares through good news and PR.
However I still think the SP is being held at this price to shake out every last share that a pi might sell, due to fatigue or boredom etc, and into the hands of an insti or serious buyer.
Nothing moves it, even the best conducted placing and news of a great acquisition. We are tethered until such time as they cut the rope. The. Laws of supply and demand don't apply to Ygen.
Not strange. Would be strange if pi's were given a level playing field. To them we're muck.
Why are us PI’s and potential new investors not party to the information given to the institutions last week ?, obviously must of been good news for the placing to be oversubscribed.
Seems like us PI’s are not treated In the same manner as the insti’s or am I missing something ?.
Agreed.
That said there was a joke (perhaps made only in half jest) that we could become a £500m company with a sp of 20p. So who knows. Directors have the benefit over PIs as they can use their salary to load up on shares till Take-Out whereas PIs need to keep on adding from funds elsewhere to achieve the same past forecasts.
Seems there's been a structured background playbook on the sp for a while now and we just have to let it run its course. Still expecting more news before AGM next month so hopefully we'll find out where excess placing funds will go before then.
Trading today and end of last week.
Sells far outweighing buys yet the bid has crept up.
I can only think there is a mammoth buy being filled.
Anyone any better ideas.
And back to sleep.
