Hey don't fret CooperD.
You carry on posting and I will stop.
Job done
Na, it's went exactly how twix wants it to go.
I can't work out for the life of me why he actually holds stock here. I also can't understand from an investors POV why he wouldn't simply speak to the company to air his grievance rather than question everything publicly on this board when we know nothing more than he does. We can't give him the answers that he seems to crave. (he claims he knows it all anyway tho)
Imo it's intentional to either get attention or to cause FUD and trash this chat. 99 % us are quite happy to natter away about our hopes or the possibilities but it's all got to be destroyed and brought down out of sheer nastiness.
I've more or less just gave up posting as it's a continuous loop of negativity from him which when I first joined this board I thought was down to him being a LTH who was maybe under water etc. Now it's clear the type of person he is. Someone did mention this when I joined but I thought give him the benefit of the doubt.
More fool me.
Well this thread hasn't ended in 'good vibes' has it.
Bakky mate
I know myself fine thanks. It's just getting it right so often has caused me to be very short with fools that make silly assumptions and get it wrong frequently. Get to know yourself too.
Take care out there
twixy lad/lass..some reading for you. Get to know yourself a little better.

That was hilarious when you got your arris spanked by, ooh! can't remember his name now, then you cried off and closed it like a big baby.. telling everyone to FO! comedy gold you are twixy lad!
Stated
An example on my views
On current televised downing street briefings Dido just stayed everyone who needs a test will get one with the results the very next day. J said our up to 36 hours should be a maximum of 24 hours!
We will see bakky on vaccine.
We've had opposite opinions before and you've always been wrong! lol
This is your best chance to start to turn the tide as I am optimistic. Oxford so far is doing very well.
Correct steve67
I am in this case though.
Otherwise it's based on history and experience. Russia have no boundarys and deny as a matter of routine. We have timeframes that often but not always get extended- Results, CE award and plenty more. I judge on the record. I am optimistic for Oxford and Moderna as earlybirds but unlike guidance elsewhere (haha) this is a hope with no date given to hold account to. Aimho
I've read that a lot of these 'miraculous vaccines' are more hype than anything else to either secure massive funding ( Oxford) or to get placings/funding away, Moderna!
Same thing with most of these Covid test companies that have come to the fore lately. Only Ncyt have a product, all the others so far are hype.
I believe uk and China leading the pack but with the world's scientific community and unprecedented resources I think and have always thought that it's underplayed so as not to overpromise. Where have I heard that before lol
Twix, it's not like you to be optimistic on timescales!! :-)
Moderna
Latest Oxford vaccine news was very encouraging with both antibody and killer T cell response. If and it's still a big if this continues to a successful vaccine then it should be late this year. With Moderns in USA I feel reasonable confident for a vaccine early 2021 or before. We shall see.
Good post Steve67. Vaccines are difficult beasts. A Common Cold Research Center was set up in the 1950's and we're still waiting! Covid-19 testing will be with us for a long time yet. The only way to test if the vaccine works is to continue testing!
I guess it depends whether you believe any of the vaccines will work, how fast they’re allowed through trials, whether the trials get halted due to side effects, whether the virus mutates and the vaccine needs to be renewed ... So far in the history of the world, we’ve only managed to eradicate smallpox I believe? We can’t even develop a vaccine for the common cold despite years of trying!
There are a lot of what-if’s and missed targets to come with the vaccine development, during which we can keep selling!
This has also opened up a new line of business, so we’ll have a head start for covid-21, 22 or whatever crops up in the future!
Time will tell I guess, but my glass is half full here, and my isa and sipp and rammed with ygen!
. Testing will be going like mad for at least 2 years imo of coarse. Testing is a new growth area and a side line of ours . It has nothing to do with the revenue growth of 86% we achieved pre this side line. It’ll make money in time IMO once more. I also believe even with a vaccine ( which I don’t believe will be this year ) but even if it was we will still be testing like mad ... all imo again of coarse. Softly softly.
Otherwise I suppose we all expect news prior to Results which for me means news next week ( as opposed to Monday 27th).
So hopefully some news next week! Fingers crossed.
Imv if we get a vaccine this year and by the time we have our test with CE and at full pace we will have a window of 6 months maximum where testing will be at today's levels. Tests will be required for years but in a crowded market now volumes will reduce substantially to a more constant volume with oversupply in the marketplace. Aimho
Yes it will hedgehogarth but if a vaccine this year test volume will drop of considerably by end q1,2021 And in a crowded market now.
Absolutely and thankfully.
Core business much more impressive. Www are late to covid testing in our own right ( not partnership) and if I am optimistic on a vaccine this year I am therefore not gung-ho as others on the testing by the time we are at full pace.
Twix testing will go beyond q2 next year. Mark my words
