Getting local ‘old money’ in is usually a good thing, there may be benefits to local investors through the machinations of their tax system perhaps. There is no tax on AIM premiums are n the UK, but what the deal is in Spain could be tax write-offs or such. To get it on a placing at a premium is good. The money is too much for just wages so perhaps interest payments or a further development ( the entire mining rights covers a very large area, not just where the mine is). Personally, not happy about the placing, it was the same as the one earlier in the year at .5 so we s dilution, but being at .5 at the moment certainly has a positive twist to it. Probably explains the sells last week.
Attila, you can always use the backspace key.
Lol.
Not the RNS I was expecting today, I have to admit.
Blame is laid squarely with the suppliers, so compensation will be coming to WRES, not that it compensates existing shareholders for dilution, which otherwise would not have happened.
I’m not surprised that there is a huge premium to the current joke of a share price. If ever there was a buy signal, it’s that, plus the bod buying at 0.5p after the results. Sadly, I put in all my cash at much higher levels, so will have to see what I can afford in coming weeks.
At least we have this - “first ore to the new concentrator plant starting later this month.”
He has put out the negative, ahead of the positive. I would not have wanted to see a first ore through new concentrator RNS, followed by a placing RNS. That would have been VERY messy.
You can buy my 10million if you like. They are worth 0.5p apparently!!! I’ll accept payment by bacs or cheque. Lol...don’t why I did the lol thing, certainly not finding this even slightly amusing.
Derampers on here typo !!:)
GIT,exactly no brainer imho ,daytraders /deramoers lol!!,theirs certainly some experts on here!!!
The delay to the concentrator has meant that we are not going to reach full production as quickly as we otherwise would have, and the grant won’t come in for another couple of months, but we still have to pay all of the employees so more money is needed in the short term.
Placing shares at 0.5p which is a 33% premium to the current SP shows that the Spanish investors have every faith that WRES will be a very profitable company going forward,
Yes it means that the long awaited uplift in the SP is likely to now be next year rather than later this year, but from my perspective as a long term investor, so what, it’s the end result that matters.
If I had more cash available I would be buying more.
