Howdy Safetyman! You're around 6,500 miles adrift...I'm in the Mohave Desert - about 200 miles south of Death Valley, California. That's even hotter at around 52C. At least we don't get many flies....the heat kills them! Wishing WRES would go up somewhat but at least gold has gone up again. Anyway...Bedtime for me.

One of the trees was dead and was leaning on the shed which is why I had to take it down, fortunately it was only a small apple tree so no damage but the shed needs to be repainted. The repairs were minor but I still have to re do the windows as the frames were rotten but I didn’t have the wood to replace them - my next job along with repairing her fence, and repainting the shed, now that I can get to it all.
Git did the trees fall on the shed lol.
Well I can understand them not having much water to go round but.....not the UK.
Desert jo, where are you ? The Sahara?
I hear in some parts of the country because of the heat people have used all the water up now how bad is that we either have too much or not enough lol..... now that needs to be sorted.
50C I meant for Sunday.
45C here, amigos, with 50F forecasted for Sunday. Blue skies and sunny.....must be summer but we've had no rain now for 118 days so garden ain't doing too well. Invested again for hopefully third time lucky if MM gets it right!

It’s 33 here mate, and I spent most of yesterday working in my mother in laws garden taking down two trees and then repairing her shed, I was sweating so much my black tee shirt turned white in places, it’s too Blimmin hot for working outside but she has no one else to do it, her son does sweet FA !
Anyway I’m sure that all of the team at la parilla have been made very aware of the fact that unless things substantially improve, they may not have a job in six months time, so no doubt things are in full swing and production is increasing.
It’s only 29 C in Merida. Hope the chaps are all busy.
