alph; thanks for the informative posts. In addition, the new year US pricing/inflation link should increase unit price too.

What is KR's current thinking on this one?
https://www.africanews.com/2022/10/10/ruto-to-construct-the-tanzania-kenya-gas-pipeline/
Pipeline to Mombasa and thereafter up through Tsavo to Nairobi and feed into power station(s). The days of charcoal burning will be over in conurbations within two years. Ruto hopefully a big improvement on Uhuru and his father, Jomo.

I'd like to think WEN will be a steady little earner and Tanz is becoming a useful alternative investment option as we plunge into disarray here. Certainly keen on both WEN and SHG for 2023.

Keen to learn details on the next "asset".
One possibility is desirable but remote(?)
A 9% pa cumulative/compounded ongoing return is useful.
Unable to listen to web call but hope it has been recorded.
Super Stock , Super Dividends!
I note this is a very quiet bb. Have drawn my own conclusions to avoid droning on.
Answers may come re Ruvuma and other points raised but I view WEN as a growth stock. It certainly has a solid foundation stone to progress.
Picking up the reins here.
Would be interested to hear if anyone has written to KR on any aspect.
Also, presumably there is no intention to go out on to the shelf with a view to entering the LNG export market, i.e. the company is geared to satisfy local demand to Dar, Dodoma, etc whilst Rukwa coal will cater for the Mbeya region.
Will shortly take up some stock and include it into core holdings.
I received my dividend on Friday afternoon.
Dividend was due 29th still nothing received here. Hopeful monday morning.
Isn't today the day for the Div payment? 29 july. Not got mine a of 10:30am...
Probably a unemployed and bitter guy who studied geology for 3 months and with way too much free time.
The 1P reserves alone are enough for more than 6 years of production at the current record production levels. The 2P reserves for 12 years. Serous question to you Geo: what actually motivates you to post all this repetitive and pretentious garbage? With WEN and so many other companies.
The market never rated the Scirocco prospects in any case
What now? Back to sleep for a year or two until the gas production drys up.
Perhaps it is cheaper for TPDC to take-over SCIR's stake now than to buy-in the 25% obligatory stake at a later stage, where they have to pay 25% of the past development costs. It's over for WEN. Yet another failure. Time for the usual share buy-backs and share options for management.
When oh when will WEN's management finally realise that they should actually represent the shareholders. Embrace the non-operator position, radically cut costs and double the dividend... No need for anything else at this stage.
re RNS - certainly suggests the 2 already involved parties believe strongly in it's prospects; i can't see them both passing up the pre emptive/first refusal rights so looks like back to square 1. I wonder whether WEN's supposed good relations with Govt could be leveraged to be a (smaller) partner alongside either of these 2?
Looking at the RNS it turns out GEO might be right after all!!!
Geo doesnt care about factual information.
Drilling in November GEO.....
This company continues to cannibalise itself
Despite the chat the gas won’t flow at these rates for much longer unless it and it’s partners actually do development work and actually drill more wells.
