"Who cares Mara what you think. A D 2021-2021"
I like it Tritobeobjective :-)
Maragon - thanks for details this time - sorry if I was showing irritability with your one-liners. It's true that there have been peaks and troughs with WBI as they switched emphasis from one African country to another - for a time under the previous Board of Miles Pelham they did seem to be getting it right but were over-extending themselves financially. If I'd been more aware I should have too taken advantage of the ups & downs instead of watching it drift.
My excuse is I believed the then management and without regular updates that was me being naive. Now it is a different story, focus has changed completely under the new Management, different countries, different business, different financing. Ok, I know that simplifies it too much but in essence the main focus on Gabon in particular, on timber trading and being given regular updates means we can now judge for ourselves success or failure.
We're in a growth stage now and to achieve this in the face of a global pandemic is remarkably good and effective management.
Today's firming of the sp after recent profit-taking augers well - hopefully Maragon you'll be back with us for the next run up.
Who cares Mara what you think. A D 2021-2021.
Bought in for my fourth go on 12th October at 2.52p and sold in tranches between 4.7p and 5.5p averaging 5.12p overall. I’ve been here in and out from the beginning of Obtala having first bought at 22p and sold at 42p.
FWIW (and DYOR etc) I do not believe, and never have, that this company will EVER make a profit for it’s investors nor pay a dividend. I may proved to be wrong and there are plenty who believe ( or at least state that they do) that this is going to fly and that buying in is a no brainer. They, for the most part, also said the same when this was going to be Africa’s big food producer success story, and tell you to ignore the past and look forwards, however........

Have a good weekend all.
I think he just toldya Dacto that he does get it wrong!! It seems to have disappeared?
In at an average of 2.54p and out at 5.5p (before the top annoyingly). Oh, I haven’t called one this wrong yet in over 10 years!
Your one-liners are always insightful Maragon - but what did you sell at ?
You"ll be too old t deal Maras!
I’ll buy back in at 2.5p
It"ll recover, Woody"s too good not to!! Great rns agin, Great year ahead!
RNS looks good and there are decent buys coming in yet the SP is down....go figure!
Today's RNS for the 1st quarter results has to be seen as excellent reassurance that the change in Woodbois management is making all the right moves for the success of the company. The new management promised more regular updates and here we are just a few days into April with 1st quarter results. Business growth looks remarkable especially in the light of the Covid pandemic.
The projection for the year looks good too with Paul Dolan CEO quoting:
"Despite the continued proliferation of COVID-19 and the subsequently challenging global economic environment, Woodbois expects to turn cashflow positive and to deliver record revenues during 2021"
