Sky news tonight talking about masks that do not work.
Is everybody asleep in Versarien Sales? I would be on the blower to SKY. I would be on the blower to BBC. I would be on the blower to Boris.
sry, yes symbol of hand in water on packet.
Symbol on packet shows.
Think you will find it is Hand Washable.
No not washable.. From the packaging , they are reusable, but presumably not washable.
Can you wash them?

Not all masks are Versarien masks
Also you can fit a clip or an extension to them of your own to link the loops together behind head as you can with any others.
They still fit behind your ears but the size of the loops are adjustable, so you can get a tight fit.
They are a professional job, everybody should have one.
@Goldenbull, do they fasten round back of head as opposed to behind ears which was the major failing point of the previous millions of pounds worth of masks our government spaffed money at? NR should give Boris a call direct imo.
Mine arrived on Saturday so we were able to wear them over the w/end, yes very comfortable to wear, as my youngest daughter is NHS I will order some more so we all have spares.
Basscadet, whilst I agree that it would be good to see a detailed (side by side) benefits comparison other things to consider could be:
- viral & anti-bacterial protection which standard masks don't have (you can get masks with silver in but I wouldn't class these as standard)
- comfort / fit (perhaps the adjustable ear loops make the VRS one fit better and thus negating the recent story)
- length of time they may be used for (perhaps the VRS one can last an entire shift rather than having to use multiple in the same period)
- in a similar vein to the above point with the washable / reusable nature of the VRS mask perhaps means that over the life of the mask 1 VRS one will take the place of (very) many other masks. So on this, and the previous point, you don't compare 1 mask at £10 (not that bulk buyers would pay this much anyway) with 1 mask at £1 but rather 1 at £10 with 100 at £1
With £2 per mask being donated to charity the profit margin on them must be very hefty.
You won't sell in bulk to the NHS with huge margin like that so for bulk orders I imagine they can be competitive on pricing.
But if an N95 mask costs somewhere between £2 and £6 then we still need to know why these graphene ones are better in order to justify the extra cost. I don't think major customers will buy bulk otherwise. Is it because of comfort, they can be reused, provide extra protection or something else?
If all these NHS masks are being scrapped and Versarien have close government connections.
Versarien should have a customer. Tried one on today, they are really good, snug fitting and much more comfortable.
The NHS ones did not fit tightly, the Versarien mask is one size and is adjustable to fit properly.
I've ordered some for the family, be interested to see what they are like, delivery Monday 10th / Tuesday 11th.
50 Million face masks suplied to NHS not fit for purpose according to headline on BBC News Web site.
Sad and unwanted news but may be beneficial to VRS?
