Forgot to submit last week but would have lost anyway...Well done Newsvid.
Anyway, still biased and bullish, so I'll stick to my weeky atr strategy and go for 98.49 to give us a breakout over the 20 week MA and to establish a stronger trend.
Well guessed newsid!!
Alot happening next week, including the main central bank interest rate hikes (or not). If interests rate hold or drop, I think we rise. If interest rates rise (VOD has 2.5% average coupon and limited near term maturing debt ), I think we rise.
Can I have 97.6p please
Hi Dan, we will soon be over a £1 don't you worry, rudderless ship heading for the rocks indeed, more like a cruise liner on it's way to paradise , but you have to believe :-)
Hello Rob, where have you been? Don't you pick on my mate Gary, he can't help it? 98p will do me,but come on you tight git, another 2p? Have a great weekend Amigo.

Danielh = Pr@t - but a nice finish in the end
Another entertaining spat between the two big brains (ha!) on here, but is Mikey right or is Danny boy?
Results soon so we will have an idea of the short term trend here.
As for brokers we have Deutsche (DB) against Jefferies (M) ... Deutsche is maintaining a buy rating with a lowered target price of 195p. Jefferies’ outlook is more pessimistic offering a target share price of 85p and a hold rating due mainly to revenues which are seriously declining on the continent
Furthermore, Jefferies’ full-year guidance is below consensus, with EBITDAaL forecast at €14.85bn on the upside €14.48bn and cash flows of €4.95bn on the upside.
Is Jefferies’ pessimism justified? We’ll find out when Vodafone faces shareholders on Wednesday, February 1.
My money is on Mikey I'm afraid, VOD is currently a giant rudderless ship drifting towards the rocks.
ok but you have to take into account that I've bought back so the sp is going to go down from here.
Haha
Cheap, good to be back here by the way
Idiot!
Ready for the 2.30 drop when America opens
First time since mid June last year at circa 125p...Good signal that the downtrend is running out of steam. Whilst the 50 dma is providing price support, the near term target is the 200dma currently at circa 110p
I never re-invest dividends but that's because I'm more active on the technical side of things than some fundamental investors.
More cash equals more trading opportunities
Who will re-invest dividends in VOD?
