My issue with hydrogen is logistics, it is very hard to transport and store.
Drop in solutions are massively overlooked. Bio-diesel is about to be massive. It works within the exisiting combustion engines. Are we really going to repalce the worldwide fleet of lorries and trucks with EV's...no way. Dro in clean fuels using the existing platforms is much greener than building billions of new EV's!
My hedge is SAF, Nuclear and bio-diesel being the biggest drop ins for clean energy within 5-10 years. Beyond that sure hydrogen and all other exotic green energy plays. But if you want to take on fossil fuels you need immediate use and scale. Drop in green fuels do this short term...
MakePumps12 Thanks for that will read up on.
My future energy plays are SAF and Nuclear...if you buy well these will bring you 500-1000% in the next 5-10 years minimum...more I suspect
Google Fulcrum Bio and MAG group they tied up an agreement Oct I think.. MAG covers Manchester Airport etc and infra already in place for pipeline for off airport to terminal delivery.
If you want a clean sweep of SAF and all linked parties add Rolls and MNZS ;)
No excuses needed, all insightful factors to think on, thank you and GLA.
The plot thickens Makepumps...who refuels the planes...I suggest if you haven't been buying stocks in air ground logistics you should be!
Anyone else feel like another off take is coming our way soon?
Maybe from Ryanair or EasyJet?
I'm just surprised that not more UK based airlines haven't jumped onboard the SAF wagon yet.
premarket looking wild
another off take for AMTX with AA...thats almost $5bn signed this week
Not able to see any vls connection at the moment. Aemetis appears to use LanzaTech reactor for existing projects.
This news although not involving VLS directly is overall positive for the sector and VLS in general. The additional funding will only accelerate VLS projects going forward. Exciting time ahead.
IAG just signed a major MOM for SAF, West Coast locations US...
Not with Velocys...
Hi MakePumps12,
Very scary volatility across all stocks and industry sectors. Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately, I pulled out all my £16k at 8p Vls investment on Monday afternoon after deciding not to want to risk it. I don't doubt that I will miss the share price rally as Vls is closer to get there than most would think. Best of luck everyone but I'm out of Vls. NoFear.(*__*).
As usual, the new variant is another deliberate scare. This time I took advantage on Friday. I know you shouldn't judge the market by a Monday morning. But I'm glad I bought in then. GLA
If this new variant is highly contagious but with milder symptoms, that is really good news indeed. It will wipe itself out.
We'll be having Omicron parties, just to get it.
Anybody buying shares at the top prices only have themselves so blame, there was no reason to think that would hold at those levels especially with so many investors taking their profits . Study the fundamentals properly and don’t invest what you can’t afford to lose. If you don’t know that then do not get into investing.
My recent experience of this share leads me to believe that whoever
is controlling this share has royally screwed over recent investors
and should be reported to police.
First the share rises to almost 20p, then drops to 8p then rises to a bit over
9p, then down over 10% to 8P when this lot issue a placing!!
What a shower of ****ers! God help those who bought on the way down from 20p.
Now that too many on this board give a **** one way or another.
What goes on in AIM is criminal. ****ing decent people out of their hard earned!!!!!!!!
On friday Dow futures were down 900 points and now they are down 4 points. Looks like calm will return on monday.
Whatever happens on Monday shareholders will still have the chance to buy some at 8p via the open offer!
Good Sunday to you MakePumps12
I spoke with an non Velocys institutional investor in regards to the Velocy oversubscribed successful placement, and they stated although the current Omnicron scaremongering could just slightly push Velocys under the 8p mark, it would be a very short lived event. They said that ideally you would had been better to have bought Velocys at 8p back on Black Friday as the chance of buying sub 8p will be out of reach of many pi as the MM's will flash it all the way up and leave many to pay a higher entry price if they wish to get in on Monday morning. You all might be too late to grab that 8p rare share price entry target. I just could not believe myself getting at the same level as the big city boys without needing to spend millions. NoFear.(*__*)
