Fair and valid points Thurg. The difference now is that clearly, VLS isn’t the only game in town so I suspect HMG will be hedging their bets.
XPB: Agree with the broken record comment. But then again Velocys ' PR record has never been less that atrocious. However, if HMG is serious about SAF it will have to either put up or shut up, and some lucky company is, IMHO, going to benefit hugely. It could, and I stress that word, it could be Velocys. They are, after all, well placed with regard to a suitable site, planning permission, the right connections etc, and somebody has to be first in the queue after all. I reserve judgement until the FEED results are disclosed.
PS: To those newcomers to this board, ****ging each other off with no constructive contribution is a waste of everyone's time.
Salesale ... you take issue with someTHING I said or just the fact that I am patient and positive?? Just so I can be clear as to why you chose to react so rudely and biliously?
Broken record results announcement.
In summary, they won the lotto in the placing, have spent some of it, still have £14m left in the kitty but will be seeking UK government, tax payer handouts to fund as much as possible. Then, have another placing, rinse and repeat.
At least Robin Hood gave to the poor..
Hey Malachi - they did mention Humberside !
We look forward to completing the post-planning consent and final phase of technical pre-development work of our Altalto Immingham Project in Q2 2021. In addition, we are taking advantage of the learnings we have gained working closely with our engineering partner, Worley, and accelerating the technical development of our Bayou Fuels Mississippi Biorefinery Project. This will make both projects highly standardised and modular, ready for the final FEED work and future projects.
Woop woop ! (can you feel my sarcasm)? I didn't like the bit about possible share fundraising - placement of ordinary shares in the next 12 months but this is AIM and like a lot of other AIM co's they are cash burners until such time they start selling their goods. In the bottom drawer for now but may buy more depending on stealing the kids pocket money. It was a Final Results RNS so bound to have been a summary but would of been nice to of had a share friendly piece of news.
Hi Boom,
Are you paid by VLS to write this boom**** !? Maybe this is congenital with you or you are taking private lessons.
But not a word about progress on Humberside....
Apologies for typos
Am I correct that all is still moving along...just slower due to covid?? I'm looking at this dip as top up time...no news to say anything but improvement in systems and plodding on where we are allowed...more cash on hand and more acceptance from community with planning etc going through. Not a bad year?? Big boys been making a mess on the margins abd market having a correction but I see no readon this not get built if we stay true and help get folk talking so investors get ball rolling on builds. Im wishing I could do a top up.
