Noise- good post.
Noise, cantankerous bunch sounds good to me, lol
Hopefully it means we will have the right mental attitude to deal with those that are like minded on the BoD ???
I am an old fart who likes Port, I think us Port drinkers are a cantankerous bunch!
Noise whatever it is you are drinking... please send me a bottle :)
There's an easy solution to a lot of this drama, but it is a bit of a 'make or break' situation as far as the company is concerned.
--We have a major 201 dataset that is ready to be delivered. If I understand correctly, an interim RNS will be made available shortly (ish), with a more detailed report at a later time. If this is any good, you would readily suspect the MCAP problem with resolve itself (if it is suitable for 5000 patients a year, it's worth £300m+, depending on the royalty payments)
--There is a reasonable shareholder concern (IMO a valid concern) that Satu is delaying this, to get her equity placements lined up (and secure her own salary and the co's future)
--Beware a few oddballs on this board. It's quite plausible mischief-makers are here with the express intention of crashing the company, securing a cheaper entry point, and/or pushing us into admin
If 201 is any good, perhaps Satu can contact one of her long-term and esteemed 'big boy' partners she keeps talking about. £3m upfront fee to enter negotiations, £50m for the 201 prostate cancer license, £25m for the 301 endometriosis license, £25m for 201 other cancer indications, 5% royalty fee and stagegate payments.
Honestly, I don't see Valirx existing in its current name and/or form in 12 months, I hope that pans out in a positive manner, but I foresee optimistic and pessimistic options. The foggy nature of dataset reporting concerns me, it strikes me they either have nothing, or for some reason are trying to manipulate a tricky sale to a strategic partner "but you guys forced us to do it quickly and cheaply.....". 5 years is a looooong trial (with 2+ years to go P3).
Aim is without doubt risky. The research might not lead to anything and as already mentioned financing is a another key risk factor. However the current financing issue has been precipitated by an underlying trust issue.
Consolidation would have given the opportunity to raise funds, but there just wasn't enough trust in the BOD to belive that that consolidation followed by share issue was acting in the best interest of the company or shareholders. A key element of that lack of trust is that the BOD do not take action to support the company themselves i.e. salary cut and/or share purchase. I think the comment that you can't expect the BOD to do these things is fair, the ponit however is that sometimes you need to take a hit for long term gains. If the BOD took a hit it would do something to address trust and would demonstrate that they belive Val has a long term future. The BOD's behavior does not indicate that they have faith in the company.
Dracula1- comprehensive post. Agree with nearly all your comments.
But let’s see how - out of this disaster - we can regain something. It’s not over yet- let’s see what we can achieve together.
Best Regards- have a nice pancake this evening. Sugar lemon maple syrup...
Astute??. I bought into Valirx. How astute IS that??. AS K9P asked Sometime Ago On ADVFN. What Planet Is Dracula ON???. Answer, Planet Valirx, Heading For... I don't now. Neighder Doe's K9P by the Looks of Things. This CO has NO future On what little I know about the CO. Doe's ANY Poster Know any more than I Do?. What Seems to Appear to me the Position that Valirx Is In. AGAIN I Hope there IS Posters on this BB that Can Prove me Incorrect, But I Need to see Proof. Here Go's. Valirx HAVE NO Money Or Very Little?. Val201, Val 401 are not showing enough Benefit to Patients to attract attention?. NO Pharma, Partner,JV etc Prepared to take a Chance on Anything the Co IS producing?. BOD Keep taking Salaries?. BOD Don't even Seem to Consider taking a Smaller Salary. Until something Positive Happens and Sells something?. BOD would Still rather to Keep Diluting and CONSOLIDATING than to take Some Heat OFF the LTHs for a Change. Unless Some Compound Is Sold for Decent Sum. The Co has Very Very Little chance of Surviving IN any sort of way that you would Expect a PLC To be run. Feel Free to Correct me. IMO.
