I'm excited about the JV, could be big news for such a small company like UFO
I'll be topping up if we end up in the 0.5's too to bring my average way down! What Trevally says is all spot on though that's why I'm not worried that I'm sat well in the red here, only looking at the long game and I have no worries about where it is today.
I have 3k ready in case we drop into 50s, October should be good!
Completely oversold today. Probably a combination of some warrants selling out for a quick buck, PM price retraction, and some wobbly PIs selling out or getting caught on stop losses.
I for one will be freeing up some more funds to top up this week, so from a selfish perspective I hope the SP doesn't recover before I do?
Post of the day Trevally. And fully agreed, will be making room for more to buy in the 0.50s!
i am heavily invested in UFO. but i was toying with the idea with alba too last week, so bought in on a punt. wish i bought more now as alba seem to be on a good run. sods law they say, its not the time scale which bothers me its loosing money which gets me, i then end up buying more shares to average down which cost me even more money lol.
well said.. this share will be very bumpy - it always has been.. but imo its held up pretty well . given the headwinds or Silver price and Dilution.
The stock has had a superlative run based on speculation. Now we have a consolidation or weakening period. It's totally normal. Elizabeth and Capstone stories reinforce the companies future . Everyone needs to adopt patience if you want to make the real money.
A company like this takes years to evolve be prepared for that and rewards will come.
For the record I will be buying loads in the mid fifties or below.
Look at the charts of great success stories, up and downs and bumps and bruises all the way, but over time 1000's of % can be achieved if you hold your emotions in and stay informed. Daily price watching doesn't speed up the process either.
yep I reckon 2 placings in short term would bring any company down, if we hold 0.6 I have no issue with it. ALBA did one placing and it keeps rising
Ok thanks.
My personal view is derating is caused by 2 things, which you could justify to some extent:
1) weakening silver price (although for me even if you include $20/oz silver you get >100% upside to fair value
2)plenty of warrants well in the money, which will keep on exercising. Good for them. They clearly don’t have a clue about valuation or fundamentals.
(For clarity by placing price I meant the 0.55p range)
It's happened to me plenty of time before, and recently in SRES. Since the placing the SP has been shot, despite 1 good RNS for a cleared permit.
Personally what can we make of it? No one can tell as its bent market. Inside info the MMs have? Tree shake? All we can piece together is what we know as facts that would impact it negatively such as the dilutions and placings. The RNS for the mine came at a bad time in the grand scheme of the economy and the retrace in the silver price?
Not sure what else to say Malik. Just trying to make sense of it like you but coming up with no plausible answers based on common sense and facts.
obviously not all the way down to 0.14p but it does have a short term negative effect
Appreciate your answers but this sounds unrealistic to say the least. Further you don’t take a £18m market cap down to placing price of a usd 500k acquisition.
It's going to get walked down to the placing price. Looking at this now, maybe 10% under before it bounces but chances are trying to sell out now and buy back lower later will get you burned.
If the AIM market was to wear a family hat it would be the coned 'D' one.
yeah but this is AIM mate, you have a lot of peole who invest before reading all the previous RNS + the sp is now much higher than in December making the 0.14p placing look worse, I'm not deramping just trying to make sense of the move down
Makes no sense. We ve known the price offered since December last year.
it's definitely good deal no doubt about that, but short term it has negative effect on the sp
You pay usd500k for access for >3moz resource!
it is a good value but short term 0.14 placing is a killer, hope we hold 6p
Market totally missing the value accretion from the Elizabeth Hill silver project acquisition.
We know the asset has at least 3Moz Ag, before any resource extension; and the company is paying a bargain for it. It’s worth at the very least 3x as much, in my view.
This stock is significantly undervalued...
