You may be right but and yes Trak is lagging - but it is still here. Mansfield may or may not have been the driving force for change but the company appears to have changed for the better whilst he was there. I guess it is all about how you look at things - you think he was not great and had to go, I think he did his job but annoyed JW et al and had to go. Neither of us will ever really know - all I care about is the company is starting to show positive signs of improvement. It would be good to get a good ROI on this given the time I have put in to it.
I don't think Mansfield's turned Trak around at all.
I think it's because he HASN'T turned it around that he's off. Admittedly, he arrived at the same time as Covid, but Trak has lagged well behind other telematics companies since that time.
Meanwhile, he's taken a third of a million out of the company, and never used a bean of it to buy any shares.
We're better off now with someone with a decent track record and with whom JW obviously feels comfortable.
I think there is just no visibility of the company. I think they are working on it.
On a different note Peter Mansfield updated his LinkedIn yesterday - he does not appear to have gone anywhere (perhaps he is on garden leave) - he is more active suggesting he is looking (but I am not him so have no idea). I suspect he did his job and has turned Trakm8 around i.e. job done
Bit odd only one trade today
Especially with and rns maybe huge order out there lol
Yes - and there's no longer a reference to Scottish Power on the Trakm8 website. Still, it's not something I personally feel concerned about.
As you say, KBYK, the loss of Scottish Power will have already been taken into account in current year guidance.
Re Scottish Power, I found this... https://www.mixtelematics.com/utilities/ - under recent contract wins.
*To be fair, I can't think of any company that has RNS'd about contracts lost.*
I suppose it might be possible if the loss were likely to have a material effect on profits. I recall one software company that Apple stopped using to make chips - Apple represented 50% of the business and thus the matter was RNS'd. But you're right, it's extremely rare.
But if my own dealings with Scottish Power are anything to go by, they're well clear of them!*
Agree - we know that these relationships can be transitory. And many other contracts of that nature have been won since. Also, the contract must have been 'lost' prior to the half-year results, so should have no impact on this year's ahead of guidance, guidance.
*The main problem with these announcements though is that they give no indication of the financial effect. But I'll take it as a positive...*
I read or was told, at some point, quite often companies don't want these details in the public domain for a variety of reasons. I do agree that it's frustrating.

Some good news re the insurance deal but they never RNS for Customers they've recently lost e.g. Scottish Power
Firms can get creative when it comes to redundancies.
Account manager, implies junior sales person. I guess, we’ll never know.
Any clues from what words in the posts?
wish they would chop some of the BoD bloat.....
cheers - I guess that could be a cleaning out of Mansfield old guard. Although, redundancy implies the job is no longer required.
Not going to post links as they are posts by employees who have been made redundant but looks like Account Managers !
Is there a link? I am not doubting you, just interested in what area we are talking. They have increased their job vacancies recently (ok, only 4)
Good news as far as I’m concerned. Company has always felt bloated to me. Perhaps Mansfield was a casualty. Perhaps they’re making it leaner? Could be PW chopping out some dead wood?
Who knows really.
Posts on Linked in today suggested some redundancies were taking place at Trak ?
