Wressyourcase everyone we all in profit on paper like myself and may it continue!!! GLA
Wressmycase, you say someone sold stupidly who made a healthy profit, now if i'd made a loss i can go with it, but you don't know what my investment was, so please don't judge me or name call, i am having friendly banter with you, you might be right but hindsight is a marvellous thing, but all we know at this point i have made a profit and you havn't, its like football its sometimes good to have the points in the bag...
Only huge buys after 15.30 pm so only one support, that's upwards for sp.
Sam if u decide to get back in then eventually sell at say 2p, keep 1 share on your trading account to keep an eye on what's happening with tomco and match up with the future rns . I have done so with my other shares.
Surely intuition comes in to this play today. You could see the mms were NT at 0.70. It was obvious it was going to kick on. You frustrated me mainly for you by selling so stupidly.
The mms were playing games all day yesterday and today.
Had to pop. And it will pop over 1p.
One can always put a stop loss say at 1p for 0.7p so guaranteed that if the sp drops back to 0.7p then the shares will be automatically sold at 0.7p by the broker. If sp carries on going past 1p remove the stop loss at 1.3p and put in new stop loss at 1p, so u guaranteed not to be caught out if u not sure.
My dad started shares in 1994 with £1k made huge profits initially, ran the household on that money, but then still was doing the same kind of 1990s trading past the year 2010. He believed in reading annual reports and kept faith in private companies that had done well in the 1990s. He even had shares in Eurasia mining, it was a future great share being in Russia, mining giant of the world. Now Eurasia did well. Why? Because we are now in a turning point for mining which was not the case 20-25yrs ago. One needs to keep up with the present decade not live in the past. He eventually made £75k loss of small private businesses. They were doing very well at the time, but 2008 financial crash came and wiped out all the shares. Nowadays, oil, gas, mining, clean energy rule the world. That's why they support the equity markets and make sure rest of stock market does well.
Dusthater absolutely spot on!! All these wet ones congratulating him after he sold too early and then talked the share down!! That is scummy and I ain’t gonna pamper to him!!
Take care Sam.
Sam they might be right, but my point is You and i are guaranteed our profit this evening, what ever happens we know we have made a profit and are happy with it, can i ask a question, what would you feel like tonight if it had gone down and you were £700 down and out of pocket, I was on 20 grand a while back never sold because of its going to double the figures are there and all that, i was sick and ended after many months coming out with only just about getting my money back and the share is now far below what it was then, if anybody has been on here for a few years do they remember a share called Albert Fisher food producers, that killed many an investor, didn't do me much good, but that was the best thing since sliced bread, over 20 years ago trading at over £1.30p went bust at 1p in the matter of a week or so.
Imo sam should try and hold for longer or will never achieve a multi bagger - the times I have sold to quick in the past and then sit and watch as the shares carried on rising - hoping for a retrace .
Also when sold fair enough gl - but why hang around like a bad smell - why not move on to your next 10 - 20% share - bad sport tying to talk it down after you have sold. - gl
Thank you mm games looks like I might be back tomorrow then If it’s looking like that
Thank you manager and you, I used to put more in and get more profit but recently been losing so downed the stakes a bit but yeah exactly being happy and taking profit where you can! Honestly this morning the way it was looking I wasn’t even blue so to have banked £700 I was over the moon if only I could do that every day lol
Sam we are currently on a rally, the sellers are out for good, buyers only 9-1 , the big holding today took time to get offloaded and appreciate into the sp. That's how it works everytime on a large holding. I simply can't see sp going South now with that large holding that's why we all holding tight. Me personally for 2p which gives tomco a higher mcap which it deserves due to all things covered. Can't see new big holders today who had apparently bought in 2019 at 2.5p. They know the new value of tomco now, better than in 2019. I remember tomco was a 'dog of a share' still with billions of shares in issue. Consolidation happened. I bet the Dees got their shares consolidated, now mr Geoffrey Bolitho got 5.76% of shares at 16.20pm. The sp shows now currently selling price is higher than buying price which means 0.8p is due very very soon, don't know when 9,10,11 am ish . Depends on how long Mr Bolitho's shares are offloaded to affect sp increase. I have seen this happen with ctea recently. Mr & Mrs Higgs bought in at 16.20pm day before and then 7.00 am next day, what happened, the sp went down a bit but then shot up from 5.5p to 7.9p to sell. That's huge rise in about 1 hour. But I can't see the sp dropping soon after the 0.8p rise tomorrow. The shares are being bought up not sold.
Sam you have to explain yourself to no one, your business is yours, i bet there are thousands of people today sitting home tonight wishing they had earn't £700 instead of the loses they are looing at in different shares, i did better than that but i may have put a lot more money in than you, it makes me no better than you, just maybe at this time in life better placed, our ages could be a lot different, be proud sir you have had a good day, don't let nobody put you down.. have a good evening Sam..
Philgrim i have been it 30 years, I also run a group of companies and rental properties and a property abroad, started with nothing and no education, but always a few things to steer me, always be honest ,genuine and truthful and never to greedy, be happy with what you have any more is always a bonus, Life Health and Family and you can't learn that from a book, in shares you never know whats going to happen tomorrow or if your going to see it, No stress be happy..
To put it in perspective I’ve lost an awful lot recently in here my portfolio is about 33% down over all I’m trying to recover my original capital plus £700 May not be a lot to traders putting 10’s or even 100’s of thousands in one hit but getting realistic £700 is nearly half a months salary for me made in 2 days if I could do that every two days I’d be a lot richer than I am today!! Once my capital is made back I can afford to take more risk and hold longer and doesn’t matter if profit drops away like it has for me on COPL and UKOG recently
Safy exactly
Mmsgames I thought it would struggle to rise to 2p without further news and results? I may buy back in if that’s really the case and I can get 100% in a week with no news
Was a there a 0.8p buy near close. I couldnt see it. But sure someone said there was
Agree with Safy, profit is profit until another great day Sam.
Can see 0.8p by 11ish . 0.9p by close would be fab. Friday tomorrow. Am sure the 1p parade will be in Friday afternoon. 2p easy by next week. Holding tight not selling until 2p then a big drop and buy in again for keeping free shares in. I believe in due course 5p+ on the cards. Let free shares ride to 2021. GLA
Sam,
Dont apologise to anyone for taking profit, its your money, do as you please.
Take it, leave it, shouldnt matter to anyone other than yourself.
JAdam is right, its your choice mate, he can feed you the technicals but ultimately its your skin on the line. £700 or whatever it is you made, its £700 more than what you would have had, had you not invested here.
Enjoy your earnings.
Manager as someone once said to me on a BB if you don’t take profit when your in profit someone else will, I found that out only the other week on UKOG that’s why I was happy taking my profit today, we can never all buy at the bottom and sell at the top but I’ll just say one think if I can make 20% on every share I buy that would make me very very rich very quickly 9/10 it falls back at some point... I witness EUA rise for weeks to then have a 50% down day everyone panic sells that’s when you re buy into the share you don’t sell with them which is what I did with EUA I panicked, anyway good luck everyone tomorrow I maybe back we’ll see on the SP in the morning
Manager..If you think it's tosh that's fine. I've been on Aim since circa 1995 and have learned a lot and made up for mistakes from the early days. I have no idea about Hur 1 year ago, I wasn't in it. But you see, comparing that share to TOM today, shows what a complete idiot you are. What was the MCAP of HUR at 70p 1 year ago? It's probably as chalk and cheese as you can get. Well done for selling your £7K of shares today at 0.70. You can sleep well. Will I sleep well still being in tonight? Yes, because the odds of Tom opening lower tomorrow, compared to them hitting at least 0.9, are massively stacked in my favour. Just think, that's nearly 30% higher than your sell price...another £2K profit you've probably spunked for not reading the share properly....still, it's only money, and we're all only really here for the crack aren't we.....
Wressmycase, And thats what i did, remember only i know what i bought for, i don't know if your all right and i'm wrong why am i getting all this hagg, Best of luck to all of you i have no gripe with no one, but Sam only you can find what works for you, as long as you are happy with what you have done today thats all that matters.
