I think we all know that you will be paying 18p / 19p tomorrow.
Somebody is definitely picking up stock again.
Come back and tell us your biggest regret when we are back at 23p and 30p.
You need to adopt a more panoramic view to investing than being insular and myopic. Either that or turn the lights on when you are reading.
You already missed 10% and more gain this morning and you will miss that and more again imvho
Unjustified fall yesterday and at the end of last week also which would only be taking us back to the 19p and higher we were before that. We were 23p prior to results and we should be heading back there in the short term.
There has been no company negative news, we are still producing oil and getting $57 per barrel hedged for 60% of our production. Not many other oil companies out there that can claim that.
Then the Ugandan assets sale could complete along with another $500M worth of asset sales on top.
half the bickering on here is people trying to predict the future , if use are that good at seeing the future then play euromillions haha. ill personally wait for the rns. Seen it to many times people assuming things are perfect and they are heading to big figures then boom , rns lands and the SP is lower that your grannys tits haha
It's all conjecture, "if this" or "when this" happens. fundamentals play a part but it's all based on best or worst case scenarios.
The only rule i have is dont open a trade when there is an RNS or some kind of fundamental news about to break.
How many of you bought in at around 50p only to topup to lower your average? You need to see a SP above 35p to probably see breakevevn or a little profit. How many bought over 100-140p. How mcu do you need to topup to lower your average and then see the sp reach a level to see breakeven or a return? Are you willing to wait 18-36 months?
How is that portfolio management when you're not reducing your risk only exposing yourself to more!
Never trade on 'Hope or Feeling'. That's always been a moto that's been drummed into me from my mentor.
GLA
We had somebody or somebodies take advantage today and picked up between about 12 million and 15 million shares on the cheap.
We are still producing the same oil we were on Friday and profitably and 60% is being sold at $57 per barrel.
Unjustified 8% / 9% fall with no accompanying bad company news.
Hi Nickel,
You post some great stuff and your positivity is something to behold in these dark days. However if I could add some very well meant thought It may be worth doing a few less post that than replying to every negative numpty who appears on the board....
I really believe that Tullow is a dantastic buy at this price and wish us all the best .
A bit of patience is all we need .
Good luck Amigo...
You know the shorters are sweating... if there's an rns in the morning they are in big trouble.
and besides.... and this is the other biggie...
The new CEO has already re-iterated that they WILL be disposing of other O&G assets to achieve the $1bn target. When that those land, the share price will equally moon.
It is not included in the sp and you'll see that when the rns drops... must don't believe it!! Good luck with your short but unless you're in from materially higher levels you're account is likely to blow. I wouldn't want to be sleeping on those terms and conditions every night tbh!!!!!!!!!!!
Nickel,
Every day without news its going down and the risk of folding up increasing. As i said before Uganda sale will help pay next year debt and its included in the SP.
You are trying very hard.. good luck.
You need your eyes testing oil 41.94 2.8% down.
Oil moving up, now $43
Shell (RDSB) by comparison is down only 1.75%, and they probably don't have a $57 per barre; hedge.
Like I said, over-exaggerated fall @TLW.
Every day that passes is one day closer to the $500m rns or the other disposals rns - which will also amount up to $500m. This is one to be buying, not selling.
Big oil moving off it's lows, time for TLW to catch up.
Oil down less than 2% lol lol
For a company that on a hedged basis is guaranteed $57 per barrel on 60% of its production.
