Quite so chukkers.
We went to 10.30p on 'preferred' status on the PPA.
Now at 3.00p, but with 2MW of the PPA actually bagged, and with another 10MW pending.
thats what seems to be the case, funding arrives another bag here, but we would still be undervalued and not even near the levels we were before we even got the damn pods built lol :P
Market seems to be settling, quote is now working!
Remember, IG don't permit trades of less than £90, so this cannot be taken! I guess when selling , they'll accept less than £90 .... especiallyif it is your whole holding.

I'm pleased for you Woody, that is a blooming amazing average price compared to most of us when we gor started. I got in nearer 8p if I remember rightly.
I have my ISA with X-O (£5.95 per trade fixed) and they don't offer a quote faciliity.
Until IG lowered their frequent trader fee to £3 (from £5 in the last month or two) X-O was my choice.
I still like them - they allow you to opt for 'best price' instead of supplying your limit, and 90% of the time they get me a better price than I expected. Many brokers miraculously get exactly your limit price too often imho?
Indeed chukkers.
As I read it, our finance has been ready for a while pending the arrival of the PPA.
Now we have got that, as of Friday, the interest rate and term structure crystallises in TLOUs favour.
The company said as much on Friday:
The Company remains in discussions with potential project finance partners WHO HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE THE INTERIM PPA IN PLACE, which facilitates connection to the power grid and first revenue for the Company.
A pathway to revenue generation is key for financiers and once connected to the grid, expansion of the project (and thereby increasing revenue) is seen as a relatively straightforward and largely de-risked process.
I also have it that Gabaake Gabaake is in country and, of course, has full executive signing powers on any documents. In addition the Botswana Gov and bureaucracy remains open and coronavirus-unaffected.
better than my average woody. currently down 59%
financing news should arrive shortly, depending on the terms of the financing and the amount of course we should see a nice uptick
Hello Brad,
After some time, I finally managed to get 249,519 TLOU shares @ 2.6p in the end, via my "Negotiated Trade" so overall I'm happy with that.
Cheers
Woody
Good Morning Brad,
It's okay, I did take a look at both IG and HL trading accounts over the weekend. At the moment, for various reasons (mainly the unexpected news on Friday), I transferred money into my normal ISA, with Halifax this morning and put an order to buy in before the markets opened. I've just checked my account and still no additional TLOU shares are showing as of yet. Fingers crossed before they get too expensive...
Thank you anyhow,
Woody
Woody, haven't forgotten you!
I am trying to get the current position for you on IG.
In 10 minutes I am unable to get a quote from them at all!
Never seen that before so London is is active for sure.
Spread is unwaivering at 2.1p to 2.31p up over 7% ..... don't believe that for a second.
I hope you got in what you could afford with your original broker. This is going faster than I dreamed could happen.
If Colm (finance director) announces funds are agreed we'll fly again to the 11p the pension fund put in and beyond imho.
Good Morning Brad,
Thanks very much for the detailed reply!
I will take a look at the video you’ve sent and also at IG accounts.
In the meantime, no problem with the spelling and I hope that your eye heals quickly.
Have a good weekend!
Woody
Woody, Apologies for the typos - my vision is still impaired from my black/blue and bloodshot eye!
Woody, I recently changed brokers to be able to trade on ASX (TOU) or the AIM (TLOU).
My old broker sold out to IIS whose charges and methods were unacceptable to me.
I opened a share dealing account with IG.
Beware they push derivatives at you but I circumvented them and opened a share dealing account.
They are superb!
On the FTSE you become a frequent trader after 3 trades in a calendar month.
Those 3 are £8 a trade but the frquent trader rate of £3 per trade applies throughout the next calendar month.
Trades on ASX are a flat $10 (about £5.50) so I bought TOU on ASX to get the £5.50 equivalent (subject to the FX rate on those 10 AUD).
On the London exchange they offer two methods of trade.
Limit bids, which sound like your negotitated trade, you tell them the maximum or minimum shareprice for your trade and they will carry it out when/if possible.
And, what you are looking forwar methinks, they'll give you a Quote for your anticipated buy or sell.
The deal ticket will show the spread , aprroximate buy and sell prices.
You click on the side you want having selected the Quote button!
You type in the number of shares and press for a quote - they return the cost of the deal, commission , quoted price and stamp duty if applicable.
On TLOU the deal will complete exactly as shown becauseb TLOU is not very volatile (on busy markets I don't know if it is the same, but HL is as busy as most 9k trades per day often and I got my quoted price each time).
They'll quote you for 1 share if you enter 1 share in the quantity.
I love it! Their minimum trade must be £90+ so there is no risk of accidentally doing a trade when you only wanted a quote if you enter small numbers.
Was going to illustrate the steps but the market is closed :O(
At around 1 minute 50 seconds you'll see the deal ticket innthe following help video.

Good Morning All,
I have been following this bulletin board for some time, with interest I might add. I am positive about the future of TLOU and am already invested here, amongst others.
In relation to that I am looking to buy more shares in the near future but I just wanted to ask if any of you had much experience with Negotiated Trades? Please excuse my ignorance but I tried to buy a couple of hundred thousand TLOU shares and my provider (Halifax share dealing) would not give me a live price. I had to purchase them by way of a Negotiated Trade. Next week, once we enter a new tax year, I am looking to top up my ISA with more shares. Some of which will include TLOU. Would I be right in concluding that the Market Cap of 20,000, indicates that you can buy and sell shares in TLOU without entering a negotiated trade of upto this amount of shares or?
I would appreciate any thoughts or advice that any of you have in relation to this, thanks.
Woody
