More jam tomorrow and with no bread...
I thought my investment looked bad
its just one big ordur show here these days
Just joined so I can ask, where have all the posters gone?we hardly had anyone posting then all of a sudden hundreds of posts, down goes the price and now they’ve gone! Stupidly I’ve been with Thor since 10p. (Yes 10p!!!) they said you needed to keep for at least ten years (that’s come and gone!! I had thousands of shares which they’ve diluted but only a couple of £1,000 worth (I lost £40,000 with a company call Xcite robbed by the directors). I hope this isn’t going the same way. Over the last 10/11 years since the collapse I’ve really suffered but many were worse off than me. Here’s hoping that this pays off retiring in 18 months time and a fortune teller in China said 2020 would see me come into money so come on Moly Hill it must be time for pay day!!!!
Sorry havent been following up on this... have the PJ and gang sold out of this?
Or to put another way...
Despite our CEO's assurance s and confidence 7 years OP would be enough to get it over the line it wasn't. So now we need 10 years and what we have now we can say with confidence doesnt get us over the line either.
Is this statement in the latest RNS a clue as to the delay in funding Molyhil?
"The key Thor driver for drilling at Bonya is to add to the Molyhil area mining inventory with an objective of a minimum of ten years total open pit mining and processing. These results, subject to assay and follow up resource work, should, we expect, go quite some way towards meeting that objective."
Once the current drilling is complete, it all comes together at the same time.
IMO

A1M, most shareholders in their right mind will vote against the re election of the two retiring Directors. If these two Directors have any sense at all they will fall on their swords and resign before being booted out. MB, I am afraid will live to fight another day but his days are numbered and he should do the honourable thing!

@ORION10
"The best geologist in the Pilbara is George Merhi who I arranged for Thor "
When did you arrange this and who at Thor did you arrange it with?
Agreed - to build upon golden foundations we need new management. Stay tuned -
See the Croydon project of Kairos which demonstrates the panning method used to discover new gold areas at that specific location. Throughout the Pilbara potential for large alluvial resources exists where bulk sampling after panning and metal detecting is the way to ascertain gold resources -not drilling. See Novo Resources and all the press on the Egina lag gravels. A company trading about $2.70 a share with about a $500 million market cap last time I looked.
The Panorama tenement is showing colours in the pan -that is significant -more significant than getting a few PPB in soil samples . The gold is coming from somewhere and I expect further work will show up nuggets like GGP and hopefully a new gold discovery in the mafics and/or basalts. Most likely structural but we have Mt Roe Basalt as well - the same geological formations that hosted the exciting new gold discoveries by Novo at Karratha.
Great post. Thank you
In the Pilbara there has been a gold rush in conglomerate gold settings and also in structural settings both of which have potential on the Thor tenement at Panorama. Firstly GGP have delineated a 6 km gold discovery which we abut with the Pilbara Goldfields (Thor) tenement. This was outlined using simple metal detectors finding a lot of nuggets -followed up with soil sampling and magnetics. Drilling will presumably follow soon. See the GGP press . To the north FEL -ASX joint venture with MML-TSX they are commencing drilling -and another PGL- Thor tenement abuts.
The best geologist in the Pilbara is George Merhi who I arranged for Thor who has an impeccable track record with many companies. His latest work found a lot of gold for Kairos -- https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20191028/pdf/449xy2sxps5zl0.pdf
Merhi is an expert in stream sediment sampling which is a highly effective exploration method -as well as metal detectors -to locate gold in the Pilbara. The best example of this is Novo Resources using metal detectors -a company with a market cap of $500 million backed by Sprott -Kirkland Lake and now Sumitomo.
The program carried out by George Merhi is just a preliminary helicopter assist for several days to do some streams and it has worked -they have proved the presence of gold on E46/1262.
Fellas it has taken me six months to get Billing to even acknowledge that Panorama and Karlawinda even exist -and now hopefully more serious work will be conducted at Panorama. Further results from GGP and FEL might assist put this excting new gold province on the map. Millennium have a big hungry CIP plant a short distance away at Nullagine and if resources can be proven in this belt of country the Canadians will have their cheque book out -the first cheque for Novo was for $56 million and counting-
The exploration method is sound -it is very inexpensive and the rewards can be significant. Stay tuned -
Do you think Mick and Geoff took a couple of tinnies and a few sausages to have on a barby whilst they were out panning for Gold?
On company accounts of course!
I actually remember watching some Aussies YouTube channel where he goes off panning for gold, it was inspiring stuff, but he never found any gold that amounted to more than the size of a filling in my tooth.
Out of 44 sites 43 were dusters
Refinary yer talking mince, trying to make yourself sound smart. I'm not saying the results are ground breaking but every gold investment I've been involved in has started with panning whilst geologists are in the area.
Aiminvestor you miss my point I can see what the SP trend has been I've been here quite a while. Point being where have you lot been? Popped out the woodwork past couple weeks then a placing lands. Seen it all before. Idiot
Taking the mick indeed Todays RNS does strike with an air of desperation. .I'm sure we could have waited for something a little more substantial.
I was just thinking the same thing, woody. Seems some have far too much time on their hands if they have time to bash stocks without motive.
All gold exploration does not start with 'simple gold panning'. Commercial operations start with reconnaissance exploration in which satellite remote sensing; geological mapping and seismic techniques are used. In turn, this is followed by detailed geophysical studies and later, a detailed drilling, sampling, assaying and mineralogical study. An RNS based on panning with only one hit out of 44 strikes me as a treasure hunt and hobby mining
All gold exploration starts with simple panning, you dont just rock up to a field and drill holes costing hundreds of thousands of Dollars. Bit of common sense, also where did all the posters come from? Nobody was interested for 6 months now 20 disgruntled "investors" strange
So what does that mean for Mick. A drilling campaign funded by many more placings, probably on a sliding scale from here. Mick's in a job for a few more years on his big fat salary (probably see him through to retirement). Massive dilution (again). Billions of shares (again) then a consolidation (again).
From the results only one pan showed a reasonable amount of colours and the rest were blow outs. They are still chasing the source
Hand panning!!! You just could not make it up.
While everyone is waiting for the transformational deal we have been promised for years, we get a update about what mick and his mate George got up to on their resent walkabout!
Focus, focus, focus
