SYME - Big Bang Moment in Supply Chain Finance - Monumental First TransactionSun 09:18
From SYME Head Of Eco System..?
The Times published an article looking at the disruption to the manufacturing supply chains as a result of the pandemic & Brexit.??
It states that these two forces have pushed many GB factories to increase the nr of their suppliers. They have also increasingly turned to more local suppliers and “just-in-case” inventory arrangements in a reaction to fluctuations in global supply chains.
As global processes are pushed to change, it is evident that there is a growing need for services, such as those offered by SYME, as we transition to a new era of digitalisation of supply chains. The Platform which we have created, offers commercial partnerships which allow businesses to sell goods and better manage their data all while monetizing their inventory and optimising their supply chains.?
We are well positioned to help companies as we continue to move through rolling economic shocks and look forward to taking on the challenges as they arise.??
#inventorymonetisation #workingcapital??https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/covid-and-brexit-break-just-in-time-manufacturing-supply-chains-q36gpz69w??

Never had a post deleted and don’t engage with known detractors :)
Peaky.....if the share went to 0.5 that would be a rise in share price, not a fall.
Also you were dodging my questions and deleting my posts when you are caught lying, pot, kettle
Ex there are 5 billion shares loaned out which have to be retuned in some for very soon.
If they were sold at a high and have to be bought back and returned is that not shorting?
peak may i say a perfect description of ex i am glad ppl are starting to see through him and those such as your goodself will stop interacting with him about anything concerning syme :)
ATB all holders
Morning TW you right I wrongly assumed the more knowledgeable would know what I meant - the open offer is for existing share holders only so Extraders earlier post is very disingenuous and misleading - I’m not 90% down I have a reasonably low average that will be even lower once. I take the offer and warrant which could see me at break even point on 1st IM ( end of month or before - it could quite easily see me in prophet :) ( genuine misspelling :)
Calamari ,
The figures you quote are indeed correct but they do not undermine the thrust of Peakhope’s argument. Liked the casual throw away line of “ 90% lower “ . You never miss an opportunity !
Please show me where syme have said the sp will fall to .5 - your summary is total misrepresentation of what is happening - the OO is for existing share holders only - current sp today is .79 - if syme had informed the market it would be .5 at some point this month no one would be buying at the moment they would simply wait until it was .5 so your comment is at best stupidity but I honestly believe your smarter than that so it’s clearly an attempt to mislead which is not only disingenuous but also very sad - if no one is shorting or trading syme one has to come to the conclusion they simply don’t want syme to succeed and for what ever reason have been bashing syme since it’s conception - I simply can not understand why people would not embrace change and technology in order to help SMEs globally , supply chains and employment opportunities helping lift people out of poverty - the detractors have never accepted that syme will ever get going and now it looks like we are about to start the wheels turning they have been proven to be wrong and the misrepresentation that they churn out could have cost people £1000s in losses as the frighten them into thinking syme will go bust and the only way out is to sell at a loss - dispicable !!
You have your “ ho hum” catchphrase you put at the end of some of your posts which indicates you are pleased with yourself and take great pleasure from seeing the company in its present situation - it’s all about to change and you will never compliment syme or acknowledge its success ! It’s for these reasons you lose all credibility and clearly have an agenda your too dishonest and ashamed to share :)
The only risk seems to be if the s/p rises (on hope/news) instead of falling (as SYME has said it will), AFAICS.
Hi Peakhope
.."those that keep predicting .5 or below need it that low to close their short - their stressed as it’s not happening and going to cost them a fortune.."
I'm not short - and have never shorted - but at the risk of someone coming along and telling me where I've misunderstood, I think you're wrong :
- we've been told quite clearly that it will be possible soon to buy shares at 0.5. Why ? Because someone (SYME) will be selling lots of them at that price (or lower) : it's entered into an agreement to do so;
- today's UT closed at .079 on a bid / ask of 0.075/0.08;
- if you were to BUY today at 0.08, you'd be in profit (assuming a 0.005 spread) if you sold at ANYTHING above 0.085 (ignoring commission), wouldn't you ? At 0.086 (0.001 difference/profit) you'd already be 'in the money', albeit small;
- if you were to SELL today - having gone short at 0.075, you'd be in profit (assuming the same 0.005 spread), at ANYTHING below 0.070 (again, ignoring commission), wouldn't you ? At 0.069 (0.001 difference/profit), you'd similarly already be 'in the money, albeit small;
So, if SYME has told us of something that IS going to happen - shares WILL be available (to close a short) at 0.05 , or even lower - why should a shorter be 'stressed' right now ...and that 'they're going to lose a fortune' ?
The only question seems to be whether they'll make a small profit or a large one... hardly a cause for stress, AFAICS.
The 'real world' problem seems to be that, actually, it's quite difficult to short SYME (despite what people think/say) so even though there's a POTENTIAL profit to be made , in practice it's not possible /easy to do so : so, turning your comment around, the reality seems to be that any would -be shorter is going to be stressed (if at all) at MISSING a fortune, as they can't make the short happen....
All IMO/AFAICS.
If you - or anyone else - can tell me what's wrong with the above understanding, I'm all ears.
ATB
LTH are entering the fun zone :) those that keep predicting .5 or below need it that low to close their short - their stressed as it’s not happening and going to cost them a fortune - funny thing is karma :) desperation kicking in and they don’t seem to want to discuss syme any more dodging questions right left and centre :)
I will be taking up the offer and the warrant asap increasing my holding while reducing my average and the quicker I will be in profit - not suggesting everyone else does the same it’s only my thoughts on how I should play it and why - totally agree with others dilution has put an end to boom ideas but we should see a decent rerate and steady rises as IMs complete - we will become a grown up share rather than a start up - derisked and as such funders and banks appetite will return - WL will start this summer for sure was the term AZ used in the RNS with more DP cargoes transactions to follow for TFC - we will get consolidation at some point which will allow the sp to move up more freely - sit back and enjoy the journey :)
05 offer done & dusted. Nobody on this board can predict what will happen next. Not including the unbelievers of course.So please try the lottery with their insight its a guaranteed win. I am sure we will manage without you
