A no vote is a cry of anger and frustration. But the harm it will cause will be far reaching. It's not something I want on my conscience.

Tskid, are you here just to wind people up. Nobody but nobody in the yes, no or maybe camps should feel sorry for Fraser. He drove us over the cliff and he's the only one with a parachute in the form of seven million quid and keeping his job. Please knock it off.
Welcome back Bucky?
Good advice on hanging off voting just yet Fred. I invested before the first pulled planning application. The committee hearing at Sneaton Castle when the second application was determined was an emotional day! Only a limited number could get in the committee room but the cheer from those in the grounds was incredibly moving.
I agree Fred. AAL (and the Sirius execs that transfer across and keep their jobs and bonuses) are creating a very hostile local environment for themselves by not considering the community support that got this project to where it is today. There is still an investment case that works for both parties even at 80% dilution - see my posts earlier today. The best deals are those that are fair to both parties. AAL are being too greedy and that may come back to bite them, if not in a no vote, then when they show up in the local community. They've taken a very narrow minded approach to this bid. Yorkshire folk wont take kindly to them if they've shafted many in the local community.
It’s not easy. There’s so many individual factors to consider. I don’t want anyone else to lose any more money over Sirius and everyone has to think about it. At the moment I’m honestly just waiting to see what transpires - I’m taking advice from ShareSoc and those working round the clock to see if there is a viable alternative. I think we as SH’s deserve that, particularly all those that supported Sirius in the early days and those in the local community. As it’s always been with me I don’t want to miss out if there is something that can be done for SH’s plus I do want to send a strong message. All those SH’s that supported pre planning that sadly aren’t even here any more - I wonder what they would think about what’s happened? It was so exciting to get to Port 30 and be part of all that - the company seemed to be in such a strong position then. It’s obvious a lot of us got emotionally attached and I’m trying to work out whose fault that was - obviously as investors we have to take some of the blame because it’s a rule not to but the dream was sold to us in so many different ways. But really who can blame investors when many have been through so much with this company - so many hurdles. Not to mention the financial sacrifices and the loss of potential dividends they could have been earning with other shares. CF sent out the message that he has overcome many things in the past and will prove all the doubters wrong. I am holding less shares than I was because for me I couldn’t risk losing all of the money and I’ve realised there are other shares out there. However I still don’t want to lose the rest which is a lot of money to me. I’m holding and at the moment and voting no because I think CF should be working round the clock with AAL to recognise that SH’s deserve a small part of Sirius future. It’s not good enough that he is not absolutely pushing for those that have been through thick and thin with him to enable them to stay part of Sirius. It’s not good enough that AAL are making no concessions and it’s like we should be grateful for 5.5p. I think most SH would accept even a small concession to enable them to continue with their investment they have made so many sacrifices for. So many that have sold would jump at the chance to reinvest part of what they originally put in. I do think it’s disgusting that even the smallest gesture towards SH’s has not been shown - and no - ‘5.5p and goodbye’ is not anywhere near the right gesture
